The easiest way to explain it, without talking about neural receptors etc. Is exposure therapy it creates neural pathways to create or eliminate past association with a particular thing. If you are exposed to a particular thing over and over again it creates neural pathways that cause you to eliminate the feeling of what you are watching etc. Too much exposure causes you to normalise that particular thing, its like watching too much porn eventually it becomes more and more hardcore to give you t…

interest in murder mystery stuff is different, actually watching gore etc is fucked up
/r/askTRP15/01/21 05:52 AM

yes, it has on going effects on brain patterns, I studied a part of this in neuroscience and how gore and exposure effects brain pattens etc... it is a red flag in general

by the his reaction, I have to agree. Not sure how someone can claim logic and then have such an emotional reaction.

Red Pill is a Praxeology, not a philosophy, not an ideology. - Rollo So basically create an us vs them ideal, and place everything into one or the other, and react from both sides, and use anything to make demonize right or left....what a waste of time.

im not sure i get the whole going against political correctness, it seems like an effort to react to something, when I can be stoic and move forward. it doesnt mean I dont see an issue with certain things, I would rather just be content rather than emotional at least that is what I want to achieve

Im not American so it is hard to grasp this concept but I will look into it
/r/askTRP07/01/21 11:44 AM

but red pill isnt an ideology nor is it a philosophy, Rollo has already stated that numerous times. It has nothing to do with politics, age, race etc..... I am just going to take this as another one of those symbolic things that people adopt without understanding in order to feel included

ok that makes sense, thank you for the mature response
/r/askTRP07/01/21 11:03 AM

that makes a lot more sense, thank you for that. I will start seeing the red pill alt right as anger phase antisocial neckbeards. It makes it easier for me to move forward and work on my stuff without feeling involved in that crap. thanks :)

I am not talking from the perspective of the modern yass queen men are trash etc. I am hearing it from alt-right people saying that they have taken the red pill which doesn't make any sense, did it get stuck in their throat?

my ex did this to me at a really bad time in my life, she played the typical stuff, gaslighting, blame shifting, etc. She also said stuff about my assertivemness, confidence etc and said she wants XYZ, then why did you change me to be someone else only to cheat? (Ik why though) but needless to say she said played the whole women cheat cause something is missing in the relationship. But if I rem her saying if I cheated on her I would be an asshole at the start of the relationship...but then she s…

Hypergamy was a big one for me, it hurt cause it reflected my past relationships and also the thing you mentioned to me about how women treat omega males cause of low smv, its disgusting. They can literally be vile people and if they have a high smv it doesnt matter. It hurts the part of my brain than deals with ethics and logic

but then how does one muster up motivation etc if the outcome is not the goal? what would be the point in doing anything then?
/r/askTRP27/11/20 05:37 PM

so basically indifferent to the outcome/goal, can I apply that other things, I mean can it be applied to things that are around accomplishments such as finishing college?
