My mother did the same, I'm 22 now and she is living a shitty life compared to my dad, the only toxic person in our family was my mom, instead of being better, she leaved, she still asks for money and attention.

I personally think that society doesn't value men at all, unless they have a woman. Even if we have them, they still doesn't care about how we feel. The idea of my whole existance, the meaning my own value and how we matter to society being based on a woman is.... exhausting for me. I chose to simply get out of there, stay away from those mindsets as much as I can. You are not alone

Especially the idea that its so important women are willing to put up with abuse for a big one. If you put it that way, it's kinda sad, Someone accepting abuse(psychically and psychologically) just because the partner has a body feature the want. idk, it demonstrate the lack of self love the person has. that's something to worry about
