No, that would be an improper escalation of force. The proper way of doing it would be to ask them to move, and if they refuse, try to lift them out of the way, if they refuse you try to break them up. If they struggle back, it becomes a scuffle. If you're outnumbered then you're putting yourself in danger. At that point of danger you might be better served just calling the police. It is entirely reasonable to expect the police to forcefully break it up however.

You are morally allowed to do it, but the practicalities of doing it makes me advice against it. A peace officer is just as allowed to clear the road as you are, so I'd suggest calling them.

Not only that, but a blockade is an act of aggression. As the subject of an unjust blockade you are entitled to breach it with whatever force is justified, and that certainly includes meeting the escalating violence of the offenders.
