2	Woman attacks man trying to get past protestors to get to work No, that would be an improper escalation of force. The proper way of doing it would be to ask them to move, and if they refuse, try to lift them out of the way, if they refuse you try to break them up. If they struggle back, it becomes a scuffle. If you're outnumbered then you're putting yourself in danger. At that point of danger you might be better served just calling the police.
