I actually wrote in the EDIT inside my post, that I would delete the thread in a couple of hours, after I received the advice I needed, because I see no need to spoil my posting history with personal information.

Thanks you PurpleVeteran, sounds like a good plan you wrote there. And it's true that I have to think about the next time, something like this happens. Edit: Appreciate your insight.

Ok. Thanks. Never thought that my situation would be that bad, but getting a reality check from you, will make me at least go talk to a professional about this issue.

Thanks. I really appreciate letting me have an insight to how "bad" it really can get (no offence), and how one can still "behave".

We need a subreddit for this kind of philosophy. Maybe TheBlackPill.

Do not go home until you're under a professional's care and have made significant progress. Ok. Will do. Thanks and sorry. You are right that I made a thread a couple months ago.

Hey RuleZeroDad, I understand that it was a mistake and I shouldn't have done it. Having said that, I don't think it is a good idea to let authorities get involved in this. Haven't you never lost frame in your life?

In todays age, the best way is to avoid toxic people. But if you can't avoid them, and he is attacking you, then you have to counterpunch. Just sitting there and letting others make fun of you, because you're "better" than this, might be a strategy that will only be obvious to you.

Cut contact. But in case you meet him again, prepare a label for him and then use standard amog techniques. Find something about him, that will make him insecure and then drill into this wound. Most certainly it might have to do with his occupation. Or the money he makes. Tell him in front of others, in a serious attitude, that you know a good shampoo for his decreasing hairline (no matter if needed or not). Point out if he is wearing the same cloths and then label him as "Poor", but not as an i…

Maybe someone can correct me. A while ago I read an interesting quote that went like this: You don't own a woman, it is just your turn. So I don't get this idea of monogamie. It's not nice, but who told you life was nice?

Welcome to the bottom. See it like it is. You have just fallen from the cliff of life you climbed and hit rock bottom. Your SMV is just around a 2, now that you moved in with them. Thanks. Hinduism as a word, was just a description for westerners for every religious movement across the river hindu. Naturally it isn't just "one" thing. Though my point remains, that it is difficult to interpret, which movement is the right one. Though I was talking about "good" and "evil", more in terms of "causing suffering", than anything else. Yes, I have come in contact with philosophies, that come to the conclusion, that there is no "free will" and thus there can't be anything you are r…

Well, hindu philosophy resolves around the Mahabharata, which are countless books. The most important of them is the "Bhagavad-Gita", which I studied thoroughly. In short the so called Vaishanvas or "Bhakti Yogis" is the one I focused on, because of Anchoring Bias. Instead of telling you what it is, I'll give you a tl;dr of hindu philosophy. There is a god. In contrast to budhism, this god has a personality, because if we have a personality, he must have one too, because if we are pieces of him,…

I've read about Zen in the past. But never really 'got' it, because it didn't make sense to me, yet I believe that this was exactly their philosophy, to stop trying and just be. Though not sure. I did mostly hindu meditation, which is obvious different.
/r/TheRedPill07/07/16 09:11 PM

Kind of. I had a phase where I was spiritual. Believed in god so to say. Then meditation was really awesome, because everything makes sense. You have the material world where everything has an end, and the spiritual world, where everything is endless. Of course the spiritual world is more important. But then I started reading more "scientific" books. Richard Dawkins books. About evolution, etc. Now I am not so sure anymore, if there actually is a spiritual world. Maybe... but without it, the val…

And if it was any other way, I probably wouldn't even have a reason to ask for advice, would I? And even if you don't care because it doesn't look like it, I do take responsiblity for everything. You are clearly STILL in denial when given hard hitting advice from some vets here and go about arguing with them. I understand that I have to tone down a bit, since my questions are perceived as arguing. I really don't mean to argue. Quite the opposit, because me going into what was said, especially on advice from veterans, is a sure sign how much I appreciate the given advice and that I want to find out more. In my opinion kids would prefer to see their parents happy and separated to seeing them miserable and forcing a relationship to stay together. I'll try to not be snarky this time. I will fix myself. Trust me on that. You are right about the gym membership. But I had to first fix my financials. By the end of the month I will have paid off some debt (not much, but still) and then I start making cashflow reducing contracts again. Sorry, but I am conservative about that. Thank you Mister_Sweyn, I am not sure if it is confirmation bias, but from all the advice I got I find yours the best. I would enter married monk mode. Also, stop using your kid as an excuse to do anything Well, I am reading this currently: https://www.amazon.com/Unexpected-Legacy-Divorce-Landmark-Study/dp/0786886161 which is written by a woman scientist. Not sure if that means that the study is biased. Though, I know damn well how hypergamy works. Hypergamy was the only reason we got together in the first place. I would arrange the vacation and literally take my daughter. This is YOUR daughter. Who the fuck is SHE to talk to the father that way? I have literally considered that, but was informed that under my state law it is considered child abduction to take a child without consent of the other party abroad. I pushed her of the balcony once. Another time I hospitalized her, because she looked at me weird. Jk. You are right, and sorry if I am still a human being and not a robot without any emotions. Don't attack me and I don't attack back. And it was a plastic plate. So, come on... Though you are on point about not "snapping" when a woman throws a tantrum. Edit: The plate didn't hit her. To whom it may concern, I have wealthy parents and my rent is next to nada, because I rented in their apartment complex. Yet you are right about my signaling. You don't have the power to control others, especially this woman you married. I was under the impression that /r/marriedredpill was a game changer. I still am. But you analyzed the situation correctly, when you conclude, that she makes me want to smash her face. But I restrain myself. Though she sees the psycho in my eyes once in a while. I don't know, if she will be worth in the future. If not, and my SMV is high enough, I will try to go to an open relationship. As long as my needs are met, she can stay around, because divorce hurts children. This is my view. edit: And yes, I think that she might be crazy too.

Thanks a lot for your two cents. I am reading this book on divorce to make an informed decision: https://www.amazon.com/Unexpected-Legacy-Divorce-Landmark-Study/dp/0786886161 It is the biggest empirical study to date about the long term effects of divorce children. I have read it. And I apply them slowly. With "Unconditional Surrender" I didn't mean that it is a good idea in general. It is more about time, which I don't have, because change takes time. Things are complicated. She prepared the required documents for divorce a couple of months ago, because of rationalized reasons. But she let them "expire". If she wants to file for divorce, she has to accumulate all required documents again, which takes time. no, because we are actually in divorce mode. I've got my own apartment but prefered having a healthy relationship with her for the kid, which included sometimes staying over night. It's not that complicated. I want to build my life without her, but still wanted to live with her, when we are good together, because I needed a place for myself without drama and where I can focus.
/r/askTRP05/07/16 07:22 PM

Well. I know. That's why I am asking here. On the other hand I would like to punish her for her bad behavior and maybe reconcile in a few weeks again, when she acknowledges and respects my existence. Thanks anyway. Let me go into it. An example. You promise to deliver a work related result, which you won't get any money for and other people are counting on you for it, this happens in June. In July you meet a high paying client (new circumstances), that needs you for a project that requires all your resources till the end of the year and there is no way, you could do both. You have to chose: Should you keep your initial promise or adapt to new more lucrative circumstances?
