Again, if you magically remove all guns, of fucking course gun crime would be reduced. I already said that earlier. But every other type of crime could increase due to how the entire country is now a soft target.

I agree that we shouldn't need to carry a gun, but thats the reality of the world we live in. And you're changing the subject again! If you disarm all the law abiding citizens, then of course they have a bad chance at surviving an assault with a deadly weapon, so why are you trying to disarm them.

Well of course, this isnt a perfect world. And if we somehow did remove all 400 million guns in the US like you want to, guess what would give that same feeling of strength? A 6 inch blade against an unarmed populus

Im well aware more guns dont lower gun crime, but the problem is a crime overall. A wonderful thing about firearms, is thay they are an equalizer. Who do you think would win in a knife fight? A 92 year old man or 3 men all in their early twenties? Luckily, this is America and the man had a .22 lr, a gun used to kill squirrels and other small varmits. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wlwt.com/amp/article/boone-county-homeowner-shoots-kills-intruder/3524854 Guns allow people who arent as strong, o…

Uh no. Law abiding citizens will not make any, cause it would be illegal. But isnt there a group of people who dont follow laws? Arent these those same people who would benefit from having an illegal firearm? And now we have just disarmed the entire country. Tell me what this solves

I mean hell, there are original guns from ww1 and ww2 still in perfect working order! If you think of the bare necessities of a gun, there isnt a whole lot that could fail from time alone if properly maintained. I really think that anti gun people heavily over estimate the complexity of firearms. In fact, the hardest things to make are quality magazines

Guns are startlingly easy to make, you'd be surprised.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
