I'm aware how the incels here get triggered by those acknowledging that both men AND women have issues. If you want to actually join the current conversation on equality, you need to grow the fuck up. If not, keep whining that feminists are just out to get you.

But that isn't what happens. What happens is that men are being held to higher standards than women because men are seen as more competent and more deserving of responsibility. When men fall short the hammer comes down harder.

and what if one is morally against social work just as they are against killing? I would view that situation as the government subsidizing the viability of capitalism by unethically leveraging people into just enough half measures to make people be able to justify the harm it does. People should be able to vote on the government that rules them. It ruling them is the reason they should have agency. Supporting it is irrelevant. Take away a man's right to vote and they find other, more destructive…

It seems all these claims about black turnout being higher is relying on the fact that 2012 was an exception to the norm. Likely because of Obama. That doesn't include other minorities either. There were almost "24 million active voter registrations in the U.S. either invalid or inaccurate." This doesn't seem super relevant here. It cites reasons such as people not knowing to update their address when they move and ignorance of registration laws. Nothing about this statistic implies that there i…

Interesting. I'll have to have a closer look into all this information to see if it can shift my outlook. I'll let you know how that goes. It may take awhile because I'm just getting to work. Edit: I never said anything about Russia and I'm not a Democrat. Not sure where that came from.

generalizations and assumptions about POC I explained perfectly clear why that wasn't the case. It's not because that are PoC. It's because they are poorer. To subtly discriminate against PoC people just have to attack the poor. If you want to make a fool out of yourself by using such pathetic tactics go for it. You're obviously just trying (very poorly) to gaslight. You're not being sincere.

I'm not talking about you. I'm talking about systemic racism. I do not think "an entire group" is incapable of anything. I know that said group is less likely to vote when that something is a requirement. That is not disputable. That is fact. You can come to whatever conclusion you want over that fact, but that is reality. They absolutely can, but people with less means are less likely to do that for a bunch of different reasons. There are more whitea in poverty than blacks and brown. https://ww…

Fortunately one doesn't have to speculate on such matters. Minorities are poorer and lower income people do have less representation in such places. Their circumstances does cause the situation where less of them are bound to handle such matters properly for one reason or another. This is absolutely true. I would suggest it is mighty racist of you to suggest that minorities are too dumb and poor to go to the DMV. I don't care about your goalpost. Reality is that minorities have lower income, low…

Nope. While I'm sure it would be nice to learn some new things I don't need a random Clearly Stable(™) person curating my information diet. What do natural born citizens have to do to earn it? I can see how you can say immigrants can have to earn it, but what they are earning is citizenship which comes with a right to vote. They aren't earning the right to vote. That is a right of a citizen. That doesn't really matter though. I don't mind conceding that to you at all. Every women I've talked to about this (about 8 I think) have been in favor of this. A few weren't when I first posed the question, but it was very easy to convince them with added context. I think most people simply don't think critically about this and if you make them do it they agree. The most difficult one was because they had a preference for it and I asked how she felt about guys who preferred girls without "meat curtains" and that seemed to make it click to her.

please explain felons not allowed to vote. It isn't justifiable. It never was justified. It was labeled "a reasonable measure". It was simply forced and is still very controversial. Whatever your stance on that subject matter is it doesn't matter. That is an entirely different debate. It has no bearing on this subject. It was a right that was taken away justifiably or not. That doesn't in anyway imply that it was "earned". One does not have to "earn" something for it to be revoked. If one is giv…

even if they contribute absolutely nothing to the government that supports them? Its especially important for those people. That is how they peacefully push the change they want for governments they do not support. Taking away the voting power from the disenfranchised is fascist and a recipe for terrorism. without having to do anything to earn it One shouldn't have to earn it. The only reason that rhetoric exists was to keep people like women from voting. This is absurd and removed from understanding and context. Its just like saying equal punishment for those who smoke weed when the laws placed against such drugs were put in place specifically to target minorities.

That sounds exactly like the kind of experience that would radicalize someone. I agree with pretty much everything you said here. I'm pro men's rights because we are missing some key ones. Gay guys are way more picky with other guys than straight guys are with women. That is my experience as a Bi guy and the sentiment is commonly echoed at r/askgaybros anyway My opinion on this subject is that this is more of an issue of "he's not my type" rather than more men being ugly. Men come in more variety in general whereas types of women are more "basic". I believe this is due to our culture more than anything. Men are more likely to nurture what makes them unique whereas women or more li…

I don't know how to feel about this one. On one hand I'm angry because I'm like 90% certain this would have gone differently with reversed genders. On the other hand, I don't have all the details and the "implied consent" makes sense in the context it was presented. If it didn't make sense then activities like wrestling with buddies wouldn't be viable. While I think you're exaggerating regardless (you're legs are at this angle when you stand....), I'm don't think anyone is telling you to "pin your legs together". In almost all cases just keeping them from opening up more than 30 degrees in a public seating situation should be sufficient so your legs aren't crossing into the seat next to you. I could comfortably fit two baseballs between my thighs at that amount.

You never attempted to debate about male rights. You didn't address female privilege. All you did was get triggered that she feels men have advantages in some areas. Both male privilege and female privilege exist. Sure... its possible that she is a cunt, but you framed this in a way that says "you're issues don't exist because look at mine!". She shut YOU down, not the topic.

I agree partially. I do think a 100% anonymity thing has too much potential for corruption though. Who is going to hold a payed off/blackmailed judge accountable if no one knows they let a criminal off? Overall I find the lack of accountability and transparency in such a system to be troubling. Hard to say which situation is worse. Maybe the answer is somewhere in the middle?

I think guys who take up an egregious amount of space are being assholes, but I can't imagine obsessing over such a non problem. If there was no space on a crowded subway and I saw a guy taking up 2-3 sets because they were spreading their legs and ask them to make room. I've literally never had to do that though. I have had to ask a women to move her bag/purse a couple of times though. All that said, I don't buy into the idea that some guys need more space. That just isn't how the male anatomy …

Female gamers over 55 spend more time online gaming than males ages 15 to 24. (Source: Ford Motor Company and Trendwatching.com study, 2013) This is a pretty wild statistic to me. Edit: Wait a minute... Are they comparing exclusively female 55+ GAMERS to literally the entirety of 15-24 males? If so that is a really misleading statistic and seems utterly pointless.

This is insane. She can hold that viewpoint while not cheating. Consensual non monogamy is very much a thing. Monogamy isn't your partner telling you what you can and can't do with your body. Its a co-agreed upon contract of boundaries. Being against cheating is not "slut shaming". Its being against treachery.

Well if they do that would mean to me that they are respecting that they had the experience of being a women at a point in their lives and that would be valid grounds for participation because they can draw from their experiences of being a women either way. Its ridiculous how much of a misunderstanding a lot of the lowest common denominator has of simple concepts. I know what happened here. They are confusing specifically "systemic racism" for the racism in general. A person can't be systemically racist anyways. A person can only be racist.

Where is the toxicity? Right there. These boys and men are avoiding toxicity, they do not want STDs, they do not want to be enslaved, they do not want to be someones 20th or even 2nd choice. John is not unattractive, he has a job, he would like to have a family I would hazard to say this is true of most blackpill/incel types. Most who think otherwise have internalized their issues and assume too much. In their toxic worldview, they assume themselves to be unattractive and unlovable. I've interacted with plenty of incels who act like they are quasi modo when they simply aren't. To actually answer your question, I would classify John as blackpill by definition. No… it really can't at all. That is delusional nonsense. There are toxic proponents of feminism that use it to push misandry, but you actually have to look for it. Going to a feminist bubble and you'll occasionally stumble on it. In a men's rights setting you're just wading through it at all times. False equivalency to the max. either way... it'll get better as the movement matures. Right now a good half of the proponents are just anti-feminist reactionaries.

I'm not sure I understand. at one point, a code with masculine values. What is the relevance of this statement? You are calling the values masculine are you not? Where did I say that it was the only way to have masculinity. You are defining masculinity as that are you not? I'm confused. If those traits are masculine by definition then having them makes one more masculine and not having them makes them less masculine by that definition. I really don't like the idea of people coopting their values with masculinity. Frankly, I feel that that is toxic. Masculinity is a very broad thing and I don't think people have a right to try to narrow it down like this. People who disagree with your values will associate that with masculinity and target men who have no interest in your values. You're also (I hope unwittingly) stealing people's masculine identities away with them not fitting your narrow definition. As someone who generally dis…

I feel we could do more to distinguish ourselves from them. For example, I think we should focus more on men's rights in an intrinsic sense and stop obsessing so much about the worst parts of feminism. This makes us look like we are just using our passion for men's rights as a veil to talk about how awful women are. I don't like how half of the front page of this sub is always anti-feminist stuff.
