Still trying to navigate how to be alone potentially forever. Going through my second divorce, being on top and losing the love of my life wants me to give up. People say you will think different in the future but I don't know how. I can recommend a book called "single on purpose", very good book to teach how to regain happiness and potentially add someone into your happy life in the future.

You have a chip on your shoulder, as do i. I'm just a little behind you. I want to learn to be single and live a full life alone I just haven't figure out how yet. There is a void I feel but logically I know I will never find what I had and if I do I'll find a way to screw it up.

For context I'm 40. I don't regret either marriage. I had an emotional affair, it came back to bite me 4 years later but with the unbearable pain I'm in, I still don't regret my marriage. It was the best 7 years of my life. I only owe the pain and suffering to my own actions. Although I don't know why my wife married me with built up resentment i was never happier.

In hindsight first time was because I had a child outside of marriage. I did love her but we were young. Second time was 100% for love. I don't regret a second of it. If you want context you can see my posts but I screwed up, I didn't take the time to heal after my first and I screwed up. When you find your true love you don't think logical you think with your heart. I don't think I could ever marry a third but if I felt the way It did with my second, never say never, I just don't think lightnin…

Have fun. 3 years seems so long away to be in a better place. I'm going through my second divorce and I'm 3 months in. I just want to feel better. I know there is light at the end of the tunnel, I've been there. This time it's worse and I'm trying to heal the right way and come out better. Thanks for the positive note.

Curious who initiated divorce. I've done a couple petty things similar. Not to hurt her but to prove my love and show her the history we had. I wanted to show her that I always loved her and that she just ran away one day. Nothing like being blindsided and thrown away which was the worst feeling ever.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
