I just discovered her channel not too long ago and she's great. I was actually watching her video on "mansplaining" earlier and it was really well put together.

It's been clear to me for a while that "equality" is not what these types are actually after, but special and preferential treatment.

My first wife used to have these episodes late at night where she would just start slapping and hitting me; it was almost like she was in a trance, she wouldn't even say anything during. 18 year old me didn't even register it as abusive; I was just supposed to deal with it. I rationalized it, because it only happened about 5 or 6 times in total over the course of a couple years, I figured I could just power through it when it did. Just the idea of telling someone made me feel humiliated. I staye…

Just another double standard. They require emotional support for a relationship to be viable, but if we require it too then it's "work" and "not what they signed up for" (per the article). And they wonder why so many men don't take them seriously.

More proof that women don't really support other women, they support women's hatred of men. Extended paternity leave will absolutely help women, but anything that appears to benefit men is automatically categorized as a bad thing.

I agree, I would say a majority of men are actually totally fine with their roles, I do personally find purpose in providing for my family and being the one who leads and protects them. It's the sense of duty that many women lack that a lot of men find off putting. A lot of women don't reciprocate that energy, they frame it as an Injustice that we have expectations and boundaries in regards to them, all while they can have countless expectations and boundaries in regards to men. The double stand…

I agree, and when it comes to who is enforcing gender roles make no mistake it is women who are pushing for men to stay in their roles whilst expecting to be freed of theirs. They want it both ways and refuse to acknowledge the part they played in the current state of affairs.

Ugh, can we chill with the hyperbole So in other words more than 1/4 of Congress are women, that's sounds substantial to me. Go look up how many elected female officials Saudi Arabia has. Women have been able to vote for more than 100 years, so if men are still the majority that means women are voting primarily for men, running for office less, or simply choosing not to vote at all. Getting racist and blaming white women isn't compelling. Just because a woman voted Republican doesn't mean she ha…

I just gave you several "tangible" examples and the only one you attempted to offer a rebuttal towards was one you mischaracterized. So I'll break this down for you. I didn't say she shouldn't do anything. I said that in a system that supposedly oppresses her she still has the right to have an abortion, even if the man doesn't want her to. Which means she's NOT oppressed in that way. She has all the power here, how exactly is the one with all the power oppressed? How are women not likely in posi…

In the western world? No, women are not oppressed. If the system was set up in a way that favored men and not women then all the resources and laws would be made to benefit them, but they don't. A man and a woman can decide to have a child, get pregnant, and the woman can later decide she doesn't want to go through it at after all. The man can beg and plead for her to have the child but at the end of the day his say is nothing more than an opinion. She can abort the child and there's nothing he …

For a system that supposedly oppresses women, this system has enacted a ton of policies that directly benefit women often at the expense of men.

I get irritated because if anyone benefits from "the patriarchy" it's women, not men.

The night Trump won I saw some of the most racist and bigoted comments I've ever seen on this app, and it didn't come from the right. I pointed out that this rhetoric against men is a big reason why they either voted Republican or didn't care to vote at all and why Kamala lost so hard. I also pointed out that women voted hard for Trump, but to them that isn't a factor (it's solely the fault of "insecure" and "misogynistic" men who just can't stand the idea of a female president). Of course, as e…

Personally, I think of how some religious people blame Satan for absolutely everything they do wrong in life when really they choose to make bad decisions on their own, but they've convinced themselves they are good people so anything they do wrong has to be somebody else's fault.

They hate to hear this but as a man, and a man of color at that, this "good man" rhetoric looks and feels exactly the same to me as when I hear the phrase "you're one of the good ones" you might hear from people who use racist rhetoric.

To me using "pick me" as an insult is funny because it's oftentimes single women who use it against chicks that are happily married. The women who use that insult would benefit from listening to the "pick me's" advice Edited to add the comeback: "She got picked and you're still single."

I commend your willingness to self reflect, I know it's not easy to challenge your own beliefs. If more women do this we will be well on our way to solving a big part of the problem. A little bit of acknowledgment will go a long way.

Exactly and it's so frustrating. I understand wanting to stick up for who you feel has been wronged but behaving essentially the same exact way, exhibiting the same behaviors they claim to condemn, towards a group they deem "problematic" by using extremely reductive thought processes is absurd. I wouldn't abandon my principles just because it's convenient, but it's acceptable for them. They legitimately don't understand the pushback and it's shocking to say the least.

They've become massive hypocrites. When conservatives do this it's a problem, but when Democrats do it somehow it's "justified." They are too hung up on the oppressor-victim way of classifying demographics and it sends a very strong message to men that their concerns will never be taken seriously. Who in their right mind wants to associate with a group that does that to them?

This is why it is so hard to take them seriously, they are nothing but hypocrites who demand special treatment. You can't say sexism is bad, then casually partake in it because "it's different when I do it" and then expect us to hop on board with that logic. The things they expect us to put up with are exactly the kinds of things that they would call us sexists for if we were to do it to them, but they expect a pass for "reasons." They're quick to abandon their own principles if there's a benefi…

"Go whine to conservatives about it." So in other words, literally go side with the opposition because we DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. You can't make this up. This is why the left will continue to lose, it shouldn't be this way but it is what it is. We can only hope to try to reason with them, to get them to understand that what they are doing relies on near identical thought processes as racial segregation (and of course racial segregation was also met with rationalizations of why it wasn't actually …

"Misogyny" has devolved into meaning anything women don't like apparently, that word has no weight anymore.

The simple truth is we live in a society that would have you believe women are beyond reproach. I got blocked by some idiot yesterday because he said that the only reason some game was getting bad press was because there was a female protagonist therefore sexism and misogyny. I was trying to explain to him that this is oversimplifying it and that even if a game has a female protagonist it doesn't mean we're obligated to like it. These people are inundated with self victimizing ideologies. I keep…

I just had a long text conversation with my brother about this last night. He is so frustratingly dismissive of men's issues, he's gay and says it doesn't affect him, literally nothing I said he would acknowledge. I kept saying that all I want is for him to acknowledge men's problems are valid and he just kept going on about how women have it so much worse and if I think they don't then I should just cut my dick off. I was literally begging him to just take the conversation seriously and he woul…
