it's not a safety net IF IT DOESN'T WORK. it's like scrubbing a muddy floor with shit. yeah, you're "trying" but if it's not effective, you're wasting your time and nothing will get better.

exactly. the real argument here is whether or not lying should be illegal/legal. in most cases, it would quickly turn into a game of he said she said.

But don’t you know most people on this sub don’t actually live in reality

Omg this is great!!! You are right. If we fucked every dude that showed us interest , we would never have time for anything else.

There’s a difference between being “fuckable” and “dateable” and we all know that.

There are several reasons why people don’t want to be married young…. It’s not solely because we want to “waste our lives in hookup culture”. There’s also no such thing as hookup culture. That’s just a term used by people who are offended by sex outside of relationships, or peoples desire to be single. The purpose of life is not to get partnered up asap and only have sex with 3 people in your lifetime. There’s so much more.

Ok but I’m also not gen Z or nerdy in the sense that I like video games. I meant nerdy as in likes learning more than being around people

I’ve totally said things like this before. I’m pretty conventionally attractive. Long hair, small nose, foxy eyes, big lips, high cheeks, and a toned body. I have several celebrity comparisons. My looks appeal to the masses, but my personality does not match my face. I’ve been told I’m a hot girl with a nerdy girls personality. Men are often shocked that I’m intelligent and funny (or at least attempt to be funny). And I’m totally a goofball. I attract a lot of men, mainly chads and brads, which …

Having students loans and building a career is a major commitment. I would rather pay off my debts and build myself up before I do something dumb like have a baby when I’m 50k in debt and 25.

Jesus Christ what is wrong with people on this sub…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/22 03:38 AM

Because it takes times to figure people out. I can meet someone, think they’re nice, and then they do something shitty. That’s how you figure out who people are… by meeting them and getting to know them; not by spending all your time on the internet on a saturday😉 Most people seem nice at first.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/22 02:18 AM
5

What? How are you getting so reactive from this??? I chose a nice man because I didn’t end up liking the assholes, therefore, I do not like assholes. Did I in the past? Yes, sometimes, when I didn’t know they were assholes. People can change their minds about things as information unfolds. It’s not that black and white. Sounds like someone hasn’t had starfish duty in awhile…

My boyfriend is a sweet baby angel. I’m the asshole in comparison. I have slept with and gone out with a lot of assholes before. One of the last guys I was going out with once referred to me as “a girl he sleeps with on occasion” IN FRONT OF ME TO SOMEONE WHO WORKS FOR HIM. We only ever fucked once…. That was the end of it. As a whole, women do not like assholes. We might entertain the idea of a bad boy for a minute, but it’s ultimately never worth the anxiety.

Built dudes either want thick legs and a slim waist or a very toned/lean woman I used to be more toned. I still look fit but before I was shredded. I get more attention now than before. My ass was always nice but gaining 10lbs gave me a straight up donk.

Yes, but factoring in age, there’s 60% of people who would still be eligible to date, if weight is a factor.

In regards to your 3rd point, I swear these women (including myself) are seeking relationships with men who are their equals and that are capable of providing emotional support rather than financial support. Here’s my theory: men tend to be less emotional. I think when men think of “providing” for a woman, there’s a financial component. It makes them feel needed and wanted. But if a women is fully self sufficient, a man being able to provide financial support isn’t as important, and men are left…

When I visited my friends parents in Springfield IL I was putting on makeup and he was like “you of all people do not need to do that here” My family is from Ohio and I love going to Cincinnati and feeling like an absolute 11 😅🤣

I am a woman, as I mentioned lmao But yes, BMI is way overly simplistic and doesn’t factor in muscle vs fat. When I was at an appropriate BMI, I was anorexic and looked absolutely terrible
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/22 07:42 PM
4

According to my bmi I am overweight but my body fat percentage for a woman is like 18-19%. I’m short-ish and very muscular and broad. I work out 5x a week.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/22 07:30 PM
2

There’s several factors that they’re not accounting for. Also, “overweight” is based on BMI, and bmi is kind of bullshit. According to my BMI as a woman, I’m overweight, even though my body fat percentage is 18%.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/22 07:22 PM
4

This view is overly simplistic. You’re not factoring in age. Older people will account for more of the obesity demographics. 40% of young adults, 20-39, are overweight That leaves 60% of people who aren’t. https://www.cdc.gov/obesity/data/adult.html

To be fair, I probably subconsciously feel that way too. But it’s stupid bc then it means the relationship is shallow and based solely on appearances.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/22 05:12 PM

Ummm no absolutely not. I date men that actually respect me and give me pleasure in the bedroom. If he’s less attractive, I do not care because those things he does do are way more important.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/22 03:58 PM

I mean, you’re right. But think about how often you see a dime ass woman with a less attractive man. That woman knows she’s the hotter one in the relationship and he DEFINITELY knows it too.

People in dating subs want answers to questions that don’t have hard and fast answers. So rather than accept that life is weird and sometimes shit sucks, they create their own reality so they can have a sense of control.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/22 09:16 PM
2

Stop focusing on “love” and replace the word with “connection”. FDS and red pill followers appear to be people who have been burned by “love” and are looking for solutions and answers. For their own personal emotional security, they create rigid rules that can be very limiting and reinforce their own negative views on dating, rather than growing and understanding why something didn’t work. It’s not about reflection, it’s a projection. Their thinking can be very black and white, overly complicate…

Porn is a fantasy (ideally). Just because I have a certain pornographic fantasy, doesn’t mean I want to have that exact experience. I’ve never cared when boyfriends watched porn. I have a partner now and if I want to masturbate, I still watch porn. I’ve had boyfriends I’d watch porn with when we had sex. But this opinion is based on my experiences, and the fact that I’m also a consumer of it. Both men and women have different experiences with porn. I know of a lot of men and women that don’t enj…

Part of it also came from realizing that just because I’m educated, objectively attractive, and motivated doesn’t mean I’m gods gift to womankind… I used to think because I had qualities that looked good on paper meant that I had value. I was wrong. What gives a person value is the openness to connect and to understand and be supportive. It’s very liberating once you care about how people are actually perceiving instead of what you think they should feel about you.

As a woman who gives honest takes, I agree with you. What people say they want vs what they actually want can be wildly different things. I know I’ve said “I just want a man to be nice to me, and I’ll give him a chance”. I have had men who would bend over backwards for me at the drop of a hat, and I still didn’t want them. “Having your shit together” is one aspect of dating. When selecting a partner, people have a lot of criteria. You want them to be wealthy, smart, funny, hot, compassionate, em…

How does having a high body count lead to negative consequences? Doing bad things can lead to negative consequences. Having sex isn’t bad. It’s not like you have some kind of sexual permanent record…

The word “immoral” has been thrown around several times describing women with higher body counts… People can change. This is like making someone feel bad for not being on the honor roll in high school. It really doesn’t matter.

People on dating subs get soooo caught up with the numbers game in dating. Idk why they freak about it so much. I bet if they didn’t spend all their time on subs talking bad about people with a high body count, they would actually have someone. Dating/love/marriage is about human connection. If the connection is there, none of these stats matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/22 04:10 PM
5

Why does everyone on this sub forget that body count is often lied about. Whether someone says it’s low or high, you have no way of really verifying it unless you’ve known someone for a really long time.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/22 04:07 PM

My partner tried sooo hard to win me over in the beginning. Honestly, too hard. It lead to a big fight. He told me that the other men I mentioned having gone out with all seemed so impressive and I said “yah but I’m not with them because they didn’t treat me right. Just because I went out a few times with someone doesn’t mean they wanted to be serious with me. Im with YOU.”

I do not understand why a woman’s body count matters. All the arguments I see of “why is matters” are typically very biased and flimsy. Like, I kind of get the whole STD thing, but condoms exist and STIs are very easily treated and routine testing can minimize the risk. Chlamydia can be easier to treat than a frickin yeast infection. And if men are so bothered by it, then women could very easily lie and dudes would have no idea. Whenever a guy asks me how many guys I’ve slept with I tell him “no…

Ah yes, love when men explain to me, a woman, what it’s like to be a woman. I’ve had men do things for me that they thought I would want instead of actually asking me what I wanted… a guy thought if he took me shopping for lingerie, perfume, and taking me to get my nails done would make me happy… it didn’t. I don’t like perfume. I shower and wash my hair everyday. I smell fine. I prefer to have rough hands and feet bc I workout a lot and constant blisters suck. I have small tits. I don’t need a …

Omg you crack me up… when I was 19, I hooked up with a 25 year old. And I remember looking in his eyes during sex and thought “…you look stressed out” 🤣 But to answer the question, I like someone who is well rounded and cares a lot about people. Them looking a little “older” is attractive to me too. Kind of like the silver fox thing I guess. The oldest guy I dated was so handsome to me. He looked 35ish but he was 44. Yes, can you not read????? I never said age gaps were bad. I consented to this relationship and all the others once I started dating again. They’ve mostly been respectful and treated me wonderfully. My whole point is that SOME people can exploit younger people.

I. Never. Said. That. I’m literally dating a man in his 30s now and I’m in my 20s. Last guy I dated was forty fucking three. I’m offering advice to people to not be shitty and use people. That’s literally it. I never said ALL men. I’m pretty sure I said SOME. Everything else you’re extrapolating from this is really funny. Like, truly. Holy shit man I just can’t with you anymore. My dude is in his 30s and I’m 27. I’ve literally always dated with age gaps, because I learned what manipulation from older men looks like. Yes, but you’re also in charge of wherever you spend your money, whether that’s on sex, at target, the gas station… I could go on. BUT I do see where you’re coming from. Obviously some of us chose to take different career paths because of the difficulty of sex work. I have always had issues with people who never did sex work calling it “empowering”. I literally was a stripper in college just for the soul fact I had no qualms being naked and saw the potential for financial security. Yes, there are some women who do it to fund their addictions, but there are ones like me who just took advantage of the opportunity because they had no moral issues with it. The girls like me never had sex for money or let men do things to them that they didn’t consent to. Sex workers are normal people too.

You only “give them what they want” if you agree to what they’re asking for… both parties consent to the agreement and equally benefit. It’s no different than selling someone a pair of shoes they like.

Jesus Christ… man. I’m not changing my mind and I’m not changing yours. This was my experience, from my perspective, the only information I gave was his fucking age. Yeah, some 30 year old men will treat a 20 year old right and be upfront. Some will treat them like shit and be manipulative. I got the “treated like shit” version. People just need to be aware and no one should be taking advantage of anyone. And yeah, slut shaming is a term that SHOULD be applied to both genders because everyone is…

I really do not understand why you’re getting so heated about my sex life from 7 years ago, but okay… I fully recognize that it was a choice I made, but I was lead to believe something different and was hurt in the end. Did I run this man’s name through the mud? Absolutely not. Did I cut all contact to protect my emotional well being? Yes. And yes, if women said it to men, it would also be slut shaming.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/22 06:30 PM

“Good choice” is very subjective. It was a fantastic choice for me. I made good money and learned how to talk to people. Two things that have taken me far in life.

There is nothing less attractive to me than sleeping with a boy in high school…. I have never met a woman that wants to sleep with teenagers.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/22 06:21 PM

Woah talk about some victim blaming and slut shaming… Please see where I said “careful”. Anyone can be manipulated at any age. This has absolutely nothing to do with promiscuity. I never used the word experimenting. I legitimately liked this person and thought something else was going. It ended and that was that.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/22 06:13 PM

Another thing is that if a man is exclusively dating a younger woman and they’re going through the motions of a real relationship, that’s because he actually enjoys her and she enjoys him. If a man is 35 and the girl is 19, but aren’t officially dating, yeah there’s a good chance a complicated dynamic is at play. Some men will bang young women but would rather be in a relationship with someone closer to their own age
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/22 04:58 PM
6

I’d suggest letting the term “beta” and “alpha” go…. I’m with a man who spoils me but that is not at all the reason why I’m with him. It’s a great perk and I enjoy our outings but I could sit around with him in bed and eat in every day and I’d still be with him. only shitty women take advantage of men for their money. And only shitty men take advantage of women for sex. Neither is right.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/22 04:33 PM
10

It’s really hard. We all have to accept that in our dating lives, we’ve probably been the bad person. I think we like to pretend that we are all innocent but the truth is, that’s impossible to be completely innocent 100% of the time. This applies to anyone of any gender. Making a mistake is one thing, denying the fact it happened is fucked up though. You live, you learn, you do better.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/22 04:29 PM
21

I usually advise my guy friends who are 30+ to be careful dating chicks in their early 20s, especially if they only want sex. When I was 20 I was seeing a 30 year old, who I absolutely adored. At the end of the day, I was just being used for sex and it fucked me up soooo badly. I’m not against age gaps by any means, but it’s important for both parties to be mature and have an understanding of the dynamic.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/22 03:35 PM

It is a complicated dichotomy. I think the biggest difference is that in sex work scenarios, the woman is viewed as having control and doing it for a purpose. But age gaps are so complicated for people to understand. Some people see it as the woman being a gold digger or the guy just wants young pussy and someone easy to manipulate. But the thing is, a guy and a girl can be the same age and can manipulate each other. People can also be the same age and one has more money than the other. I have a…

People are definitely attracted to people that make an attempt to take care of themselves!!! It’s not necessarily about having an ideal body, but that you’re making an effort to be healthy. But I will add that being more attractive doesn’t lead to higher quality dates. I get lip fillers and Botox. A joke that I made for a long time was “I got DSLs, a small nose, and no wrinkles, but yet I’m still single” 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/22 04:11 PM

Exactly. Physically, never had issues. I’m a pretty lady. I could attract all kinds of men quite easily. But I was extremely demanding. Eventually I just kind of let a lot of stuff go because I told myself “if I keep doing this, I’m only hurting myself and getting further away from what I actually want”

That human connection is super rare and that you can’t just decide you want a relationship and find someone that will be good for you. Too many people actually looking for relationships on apps have very unrealistic expectations of how the dating process works.
