Clarification, their judgement was not based on that video, but by her mental state, they said that since she was unstable mentally, she shouldn't be held liable for the false accusations, but still, the country has mental institutions for a reason.

Most of the guys who get tricked into it think it's a real date, so no, they get an evening out, with a self and mobile-phone absorbed person who is simply out with them to have the bill paid. I suppose at the end they may feel like they spent time with the girl, but that's not really much.

There's a trend going on (in South Africa at least) where girls will call you to take them out to dinner, then string you along for another 2-3 weeks till they need food again. They call it, a "Foodie Call" Girls as young as 14 (based on what my niece has said) are doing it.
