I don't know a single guy who shows up to work at 5 40 am. Most rock up at like 9 or 10, I rock up at 11. Not much work can be done when the markets off. They just end up working till around 12am though

This but unironically Legit they tried putting some company regulations in investment banking by forcing us to not do ANY work on Sundays however that just significantly increased the workload on Mondays. The truth is, no matter what you do, work needs to get done..

Unpopular opinion, she's mentally insane and shouldn't be crucified for her actions. She should be forced into therapy and by forced I mean she must be forced to remain there for 5 years of however long an independent panel of medical staff estimate she will take to heal. I would say the same thing if a guy was on the other end,I believe mental illness should be treated.

Well I'm the case of chess players, since I do compete professionally I think I got the authority to expand this point, this is only for like 99 percent of the cases. There will always be that 1 percent who break the norm like Hou Yifan, however what pisses me off is when feminists use this 1 percent to generalise the 99 percent who can't even compete with 15 year old chess tournament winners.
/r/MGTOW16/11/20 04:30 PM

Ok well when I'm by myself I play league of legends, valorant and csgo. When I'm with mates we play Red dead redemption or Titanfall or cod. Also chess, my rating is 2100 and I play competetivly.

Come to Australia. Similar weather however our economy is not in a bad way. Plus it's a generally richer country with conservative moderate governments who are continually decreasing taxes. We are one of the only countries which don't tax dividends as well, so if you invest here then retire youll be set for life.

I agree with the title however this case is different. I worked in an investment bank during my eye years as an internship. I earned about 15k during the 3 month stint there which is decent bad I spent about 2k on suits and shoes. This was so I wasn't looked down upon for having cheap suits and being unprofessional. Similar thing with an iPhone in a tech company, though I don't understand why she didn't get a pixel.

Well I live in Sydney formerly living in NYC. I'm on around 200k a year and life is relatively easy. However when I was doing my internships overseas I was earning about 40-50k per anum and I managed to live in an apartment in Singapore going out to eat once in a while and taking public transport. Similar lifestyle when I did my exchange years in the UK where I lived in an apartment just outside campus waiting out once a week and overall living on about 100 bucks a week. It all depends where you…

You got this mate. Dude similar predicament. I was genuinely thinking about doing a history degree but I came to my senses after talking to a rad from history teacher who said that men should learn history as the future is female. Pissed me of so much I dropped out and transfered schools. Did finance and maths and now am working in a great field.

I was in a similar predicament, I graduated when there was a royal commision going on in my industry, so alot of companies were nervous. Just remember, cold calling works. That's how I got my internships. Also consider moving to a different state/city, by this I mean apply for roles that aren't just local. Tell the recruiters that you're willing to move for them, as a bonus this tells them that you are serious.
/r/MGTOW06/09/20 10:36 AM

Yeah ik that's a major downside. I work in finance though, it's really the only hub with low tax rates. Singapore is also being considered.

Once I promote in my career, I'm moving to Hong Kong. Fuck the west, I get nothing from paying insane taxes... I don't even use public roads, I always take the toll. This is bs, taxation for men is literal robbery.

If you're a high net worth individual (above 10 million) you can abuse this system to avoid paying tax at all. Purchase a painting for a few thousand, pay to get it appraised at a hundred thousand and then donate it to a museum. This avoids all taxes as it will count as charity. Unethical however so is stealing your money to fund a bunch of welfare programs for single mothers.

American beer isn't that great dude. A couple of four x's here in Australia is what our entire nation survives on. Dw they cost about 1/10 of an average date, around 15 bucks for a 6 pack.

This is true, however you need to seem perfect rather than be perfect. The corporate world is suited to certain personalities while others cannot succeed. Too do well you must have 0 empathy, you have to be willing to sell out your colleagues and throw them under the bus cause during bonus time all that matters is you succeeding. You have to find subtle ways to emphasise your qualities and successes whilst minimising the appearance of your failures whilst simultaneously emphasising your colleagu…

In theory this is a perfect idea however in practice this will be disastrous. We are not mainstream, we are considered by many to be extremists whilst untrue, this is how we are viewed. If this gathering occurs, and goes public, a lot of our careers will be at stake.

This is what I don't understand. Why do people look down on those who don't have a university education, it simply means that you found an alternate way to succeed. There is no shame in that, in fact it is impressive to break out of the mould. I got 2 degrees from a top university in a hard science and finance yet I'm still jealous of my friend who left high school at age 16 and became a plumber who has his own business and is clearing 600k easy.
/r/MGTOW24/08/20 08:49 AM

Well I'm still analyst but on a good year, I earn my base salary of around 100k but that easily reached 250 with my bonus. I would put my colleagues in the high smv category whilst I simply don't care.

Ok similar experience in my early 20s when I was on exchange in Pennsylvania. I didn't know anyone in Philadelphia and I was forced to study day and night to maintain my grades. The way I fixed it was by doing 3 things, 1) One night stands 2) Gym/Sports clubs/college sports (if you aren't in college try joining a casual league) 3) learning a new skill (I learnt a few new econ theorems)

I doubt it's 10 years mate. Probably 5 years. I work in investment banking, ie my colleagues are the top of the top in terms of smv. Out of the 25 or so analysts working with me, about 19 are male and out of those 19 about 15 are single not looking for relationships, 2 are married and fucked cause they screwed their careers whilst the rest are dating. Out of the women 3 are married, and the rest are dating and having one night stands. This isn't just the bottom tier dudes giving up, it's all of …

/r/MGTOW21/08/20 02:30 PM
6

Ooft good question. I'm currently 23 and was in several relationships in my younger years. 3 in highschool in which I spent 600 dollars each, 4 in university in which I spent about 2000 dollars each. This equates to about 9800 in lost cash however if I had infact invested this money in say an index fund or through trading I could have easily turned it into 15-16k with little effort, maybe even 30k if lucky. So vest case scenario I lost 15k before even getting my first real job. Amazing investmen…

This is completely true. I worked in a financial service company and one of our clients is a well known military supplier. These guys make billions keeping the poor men in the front line. The ceo gets a tens of millions of dollars in bonuses for giving enough money to a congressman to keep the men in the front lines.

I got a maths and finance degree from a top 20 uni. It was tough but I still managed to get a great average and landed a analyst job as a financial advisor paying a great salary. I would recommend it as long as you are prepared to go over the scope of the syllabus and fight tooth and nail during the recruitment process.
/r/MGTOW16/07/20 02:56 AM

I'm 22, work I'm a financial firm and was lucky enough to be born into a well off family. I have a house which is almost paid off, thanks to my parents and about 50k in savings and considerably more invested. Using this, I plan on retiring at 40. By this I mean I will change my career into something I enjoy rather than working for the sake of earning money.

My job involves investing. Currently I have sold all gold futures due to a foreseeable collapse in their price. Despite this however gold is always a good investment, that and platinum will always retain a decent value (at least 70 percent of their cost) in the event of a crisis.

/r/MGTOW02/07/20 05:01 PM

On the contrary in my opinion. The higher up you go the more freedom you have. I worked an internship where I consistently did 80-90 hour work weeks while the managing director went home every day after less than 7. This was in a major company as well.
/r/MGTOW27/06/20 01:03 AM

This isn't necessarily true. I did an internship at an investment bank and all the junior bankers lived decently at about 100k a year.

Hence why you move to a country without a welfare state.

This is completely true. In my graduating class of 140 last year, only 3 guys had lost their virginity while more than 20 girls had (with older guys ofc).

Ok ignoring the bitch part of your story, I wholeheartedly suggest going a bit higher with the rtx2080. The etc feature is amazing with higher end graphics cards and the 2080 is bacially the cut off for higher end ones. Plus the price difference isn't too bad (atleast here in Aus). I suggest you go for the 2080.

Not really a typical business owner per se, however I am senior management in a financial company who helps new firms. The main piece of advice I can give you is to be the best in whatever you do, whether it be a product or a new delivery method. If you achieve this, you will be successful as there will be no competition.

I am not wealthy myself. My family is very wealthy and has been for a long time. I however have no access to the money or assets till I am a self made financially secure adult. In fact I have to play for my own university and daily expenses through my part time jobs. I'm 18 and have been in 3 relationships upto this point. The first one was from age 13 to 16 and was with a girl a year and a half younger than me. She knew of my family as her family rented one of our smaller properties. This led h…

Psychology and nursing are degrees with minimal ways to move up the corporate ladder. Business would be good but women aren't risk takers so they are basically stuck at the bottom of the corporate ladder, of course there are some exceptions. The reason more women graduate than men is because they are less likely to have other commitments and college is a more female friendly environment.

This is true. I'm currently in uni and almost all the guys I know are working part time jobs earning decent money whilst maintaining decent grades. The girls are just partying and every once in a while coming to lectures.

I agree with danzagnut. Keep making excuses to appease your family eg you want to focus on your career or buying a house or something. Most importantly, remember that this is your life. You get to choose how you want to live it and who you want to live it with.

I'm a current university student studying advanced maths and finance. My degree is basically just calculations and a couple of reports. The way I study is at a local library with only my laptop, calculator and stationary. I create a schedule on what I'll do for the next 6 hours (make it reasonable) and do my best to complete it.

I seriously don't understand what's wrong with mandatory DNA testing at birth. Other than the fact that it can prove adultery, it could also detect the likelihood of the child being afflicted by certain genetic diseases like cancer. The cost would also be negligible when compared to the cost of having a baby in the first place.
