Is it true that if you can’t find a partner in 6 months and you live a relatively social life ,you are considered below average ?

Would redefining gender norms or discarding the gender binary system create more equality and equity for all marginalized groups i.e LGTQIA+ community? In the context of sports, Intersex and trans people are discriminated against due to them not conforming to the confines of gender, by eliminating gender as a variable in sports we would allow everyone to compete regardless of gender, women would compete against men, intersex, trans people, and disabled people. The proposed solution would also so…

Exactly my line of reasoning, hope it all works out in the end.

I think it’s not very easy vetting for a man that will be monogamous , be a good father and husband , it’s increasingly more difficult to vet for a high earning man who has a strong moral efficacy ,who will take the responsibility of providing and nurturing our kids in the event of a divorce.Personally I never want to be a single mother , I envisage myself in a nuclear family that has a healthy dynamic , I don’t know if it’s too much to ask .

22 , why are you asking ?

Yah ,grew up in a very (sheltered) conservative environment that encouraged investing in your career instead of dating , just started dating at 22 and sometimes I feel like I am learning about men for the first year time , everything I knew before was through a rosy perspective, so the disappointment comes from the disconnect between how I expected dating and relationship to be vs how brutal they are , but I’ll be fine 🤗

Yes , because I still have morals and values , I adhere to , it creates trust issues when people don’t respect sanctity of marriage.

I’m not very confrontational , I think there will be more consequences if I take that road , it will change the dynamic of our social circle by creating unnecessary drama which I’m trying to avoid . I would like to assume the wife knows about his behavior.

My recent experience dating: I met a man in my social circle , We talked briefly and I instantly felt the chemistry between us , I felt physically attracted to him after our brief encounter , he asked for my contact details and instagram handle from people in our social circle and asked me out on a date. I had other commitments at the time so I took a rain check however this past weekend I spent time with my social circle and his friends sister showed up, it was her first time hanging out with u…

Are you a professional lifter?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/22 09:48 PM

To all the people who are saying you can , why are overweight/obese people stigmatized and why is it assumed that they are inherently unhealthy? Is it the extra adipose tissue that makes us more prone to diseases or is it diet ?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/22 07:04 PM

Q4E: Can you be fat and fit ? I believe that you can’t be fat and fit however everyone I spoke to vehemently denied my claims , stating that only obese people might experience difficulties when doing physical activities. An overweight can complete most strenuous activities albeit at a slower pace than the average person ,but doesn’t that make you unfit? I would argue doing any activity below the time it takes for an average person to do so makes you unfit , after reading a journal article which …

Everything you said was 100% true, leading on from your last paragraph, I just watched a video about binge eating, and upon receiving bad news, (the death of his brother), the guy in the video went to McDonald's to buy 2 Big Mac large meals. Something that is worth considering is that these people do not know how to regulate their emotions they were not given the tools that allow them to effectively understand themselves and their psyche, so instead of fixing the binge eating per se they could s…

😂😂😂 that's why they feel disgusted with themselves afterwards because they are so full , they are about to burst.

I don't understand how anger and disgust will help overcome the obesity crisis.

Hot take: Overweight or obese people either have impulse control issues or some sort of eating disorder (usually binge eating) due to some trauma or weird attachment to food, they need CBT more than they need to be shamed online.

That seems reasonable. I could forfeit gym however it improves my mental health, preventing me from imploding under stress. I am in my final year so I can't quit school, so it's a tough decision.

No I am not in the States, the idea of working 70+ hours a week is ludicrous. I am afraid of disappointing myself by taking on more than I can handle, however, fear fuels me, I am more likely to do something to prove to myself that, my fear was irrational. Honestly, I will take the time to gather my thoughts before accepting the internship.

computer science internship/ learnership for students/young professionals who want to change careers.

Is it possible to do an internship that requires 70 hours a week, do university coursework for my modules (40 credits ) and go to the gym at least 5 days a week? Or am I being too ambitious?

That's interesting, why do men feel bamboozled when the manosphere advises men to put in the work to be successful, if that is a principle most people are being taught at home, women and men alike, everyone is valued for the effort they put in to become a better version of themselves i.e what they bring to the table. Yet somehow men/women have to be loved as there are without taking time to build confidence by achieving their goals thereby proving to themselves that they are competent. But I do …

That is something I worry about but you can't force yourself to be in a relationship that is not healthy.

Your dad gives me hope because he has integrity, I am hoping to find someone like him when I am ready. I wish more people valued a women's career and her goals. This subreddit loves to remind us how our achievements are meaningless in romantic relationships however they fail to realize that a woman needs to feel fulfilled/ satisfied with her life for the marriage to be successful.

Yes, I figured women are always given the same advice, I am genuinely curious what the men will say. I do agree with you with regard to developing your own autonomy, I think our parent's advice is a form of fear-mongering but comes from a genuine instinctual desire to protect us from getting hurt, however, we need to take it for what it is and forge our own path. What age would you like to get married and have kids?

Question for everyone: To give context before asking the question, I am a young woman (22 years old ), I grew up in a conservative environment, at home, and at school, I am at university now and my parents still tell me to avoid dating and focus on my career, even elderly folks share the same sentiment, I have never really been in a relationship nor do I plan to because I am trying to be a better version of myself, that is winning at life. Hopefully, that momentum of achieving my goals will carr…

besides gaining more muscle , she can't really change her face .Sommer is naturally beautiful , that girl can't change much about her face considering you gave her such a low rating when she has make up on.

Why is your rating so low, she is clearly fit, I thought being in shape automatically makes a woman and man above average regardless of personal preference. Objectively we can see that she is above average. Does this mean men rate subjectively rather than objectively and must we disregard everything we have been told about looksmaxxing through fitness?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 08:33 PM

Is dating a moderately good looking person with self esteem issues an effective way to punch above your looks match?

I am in university and it's interesting how men demand easy access to sex from women whom they aren't particularly close with (knowing through class, and social circles) , without taking time to develop rapport and women are rejecting them, love to see this, my flatmates had friends over and we were discussing how men use women as a cum dumpster, their interactions with women serve to release their sexual tension. I love how women have enough self-respect to avoid horny varsity guys that don't t…
