2	Separated yet not divorced Apologize for not being clear. I will finalize the divorce hopefully by summer. That is my goal. I am referring to the the woman that i was dating. She’s asked that I come back to her after it’s done. I said ok. But there is a part of me that thinks…why should I give her that power over me. 3	Separated yet not divorced I (M53) had been separated for almost 4 years. I started the process during Covid but I was slow lazy and procrastinated. Met someone who basically was divorced and it was great…but one of the main lingering things was the fact that I was not divorced. Admittedly, I really didn’t know what I was doing…but now I have a path. We are working through a mediator…our kids are grown and now it’s just finances.
