I just started dating a guy in the last two months and can you believe, he’s the only guy I’ve let into my home who PUTS THE TOILET SEAT DOWN when he’s finished doing his business. He has a great relationship with his mother and had an older sister and younger sister. It’s the little things like this that took me by surprise when he first came to mine (he cooked dinner AND brought everything needed to cook it) I sat down with a glass of wine he bought also.

No longer our problem. You’ve already removed yourself. Stay clear unless asked directly.

Agreed. He was getting too relaxed and I could clearly see he wasn’t going to ask me to do anything for Valentine’s Day. I was not waiting around for disappointment.

Thank you! Yes he should have. The trash took itself out

I completely agree with this. I cut off a guy last night because I felt like he was stringing me along for his own convenience. We have been talking for roughly 4 months, but lately the conversations have been draining me. He rarely asks how my day has been and has started to become extremely inconsistent. Some of our conversations have lead me to think he is very insecure. I told him I started an online course during another national lockdown and he completely dismissed the entire conversation.…

Well yeah, that’s what I mean. Sorry if I wasn’t clear. But I meant if you aren’t looking for a relationship, is it bad to flirt and date as a form of practice? I don’t let on my intentions either

The best line I have ever heard is “if he wanted too, he would”. And I’ll live by that statement

Out of curiosity also, not just you but any other women here. Do you chat to guys over social media as a form of practice or boredom? I don’t usually myself but sometimes find myself doing so out of curiosity. Is this bad do ye think? I don’t tend to entertain the majority of it anyway (Private messages, dating apps) but I find it fun because I like to flirt etc. I do not make it a main priority in my day/week although.

What age are you if you don’t mind me asking? (Edit: I shouldn’t have asked age, it doesn’t matter)I’m turning 24 next month and marriage isn’t isn’t a goal for now. But neither is a casual thing. But also, I have a few guys on the “go”(chatting). I got out of a very toxic relationship last year and found this S.R so I’ve just been practicing with dating men really. Any ladies have any advice for someone my age? I’m very focused on myself and my future lifestyle but it’s hard to cut men out alto…

I’m currently dating a guy and my birthday is coming up, although we haven’t had the “talk” (because I am not initiating that conversation),if he doesn’t pull some flowers and the likes on the day I’m just blocking his ass

My mother is married to an alcoholic and she has become a shell of a woman. She was someone I really looked up too. Now I feel sorry for her. She could leave if she really wanted too but she still decides to stay with him. As her 24yo daughter, this has been the biggest heartbreak for me.

Yeah on her insta she does talk about kinks etc, which I’ve decided to over look as the topics in her book are great (so far) and have not been lib-fem. The majority of her work isn’t about sex. I saw some questions she had answered about women during sex liking to be called a slut etc and I was like, okay ew. But, that’s not the issue I’m interested in reading about. Also taking into consideration that she is only 21. She may change her views as years go by.

Yes this is also great but let’s say I want to work on my communication skills also haha. Like, for instance, there’s a guy I’ve been on 3 dates with (social distancing) and now I’m not feeling it. He’s very nice but clingy.

Just use it to get used to rejecting men if you feel like you’re not finding anything genuine. For now anyway, it’s a good way to practice dating and spot yellow/red flags and use that to your advantage for the next guy.

This is literally what I’m looking to do rn. I’ve been chatting with this guy for 2 weeks now and he’s great. But keeping your options open still is a must. Although I find it hard to chat to more than two guys at a time.

I’d accept that hug. Although I’m over him, the way I have been treated has effected the way I date. I don’t talk to guys and I lose interest pretty quick in fear I’m going to waste my time. Or get treated like this again. I never felt appreciated. I treat myself well and I’m not bummed about it tbh. I’m working on myself and the way I think in order to recognise these type of guys for the future. But, the way he pursued me was great. He did everything he could. But as soon as he “had” me it wen…

Hahaha, I have him blocked on this because I was so paranoid that he found out my username somehow. When I left him he called me and said he had my Messenger password and could see the people I was chatting too. I have him blocked on absolutely every social media now. As much as I’d like to tag and shame, I wouldn’t even want to give him the satisfaction of knowing I’m even thinking about him rn

Just to add, the back of it says, “I love you so much, you have made this year the best year of my life. I don’t know what I would do without (you) these days to be honest. I could write a 100 page essay on how much I love you but you just wanted a cute little note + you all ready know all this. Happy Birthday beautiful. I love you, yours forever and ever and ever. First step is to know your worth. I didn’t grow up with ANY positive male role models. My dad was absent. My step father is a drunk. And all my uncles were unemployed and drunks also. My mother used to bring them all dinner and help clean their homes. She is a very kind woman but because of her actions as I grew up I thought this behavior was normal. Settling to take care of men like this. It actually makes me sick to my stomach. It helps me to ask myself “do I want to be with a man who doesn’t …

Great reply! Thanks for taking the time to write this. I used to be in Art college and as a class we had to draw live nudes models. It was an interesting experience to say the least. It’s refreshing to hear from your perspective! I agree that it’s not for all women and I’m sorry that you may not have had some of the best experiences with your line of work. People can be assholes. You seem confident in what you do, congrats. I feel as though a lot of young women go into the Onlyfans world because…

This was the sign I needed today. Like a clown, I went back to my ex and he was doing the same old shit again within the first month of “re-kindling” things. It doesn’t hurt as much this time around but I definitely needed a good kick to realize. Shame on me.

I don’t think it’s a red flag, unless they are mostly speaking about past woman in a negative way. Like “she was a bitch” ect. I’m currently dating a guy and we don’t mind chatting about past relationships in a funny story telling way. Possibly, it could be his way to subtly get you to talk about your past experiences?
