I think its a mix of both but I would argue survivorship bias is more responsible for your viewpoint. Based on the way you speak I believe you are young so your views may change with time. Not just the RP but patriarchy in general has had a large affect on how men and women perceive eachother. It might not be as explicit as in the discourse but it does show up in relationships. The resentful bf who pays for everything, the anxious girl constantly worried someone will take their partner away etc.…

I think its nuanced. A lot of men in the RP space will grow up and leave it as they get older. RP often exists as a temporary stop gap for young men who dont have much going for them either romantically or otherwise. I say this because ive seen it happen a lot. A lot of formerly rp men change their tune in their mid 20s to 30s.

Firstly good on you for leaving the RP. A few suggestions. Try to optimize your dating profile. Many men are very low effort about the way they manage their dating profiles and as a result they get few matches. Are you taking good photos? Do the photos do a good job of showcasing who you are? Did you write thoughtful prompts? All of these can help you get more matches there. I had my friends take photos of me every time I was hanging out. And within about a month i had a whole new slate of photo…

So I agree they are wrong but for a few different reasons. Demand for the opposite sex is incredibly multifaceted and harder to model than demand for goods. For example most people want to eat for sustenance. People may want to date for sex, or for companionship, to experiment, or for status. And depending on why they want to date their demand will be different. So its hard to use a single demand supply graph to capture that nuance. So if you wanted to model this you would have to use various di…

Your goal should be to improve. You've identified a problem. Solve it. The great thing is that growth is often exponential. Year over year compounding returns.

Here are some steps I would take if I were in your position. I would make sure to try and establish an open dialog regarding issues of dating and relationships. RP thoughts are usually formed in secrecy as they are still considered against the grain. This will allow you to track their feelings in real time regarding this stuff. Don't be super dismissive super early, and do not invalidate how they feel. As a Democrat I believe Pete Buttigieg is a great example of this. In his interviews with peop…

But what if those uncomfortable truths are blatantly and demonstrably false? Red Pillers complain that women want money and status, then complain that women sleep with Pookie and Ray Ray (unemployed and low status men). Red Pillers claim men love more honestly than women, yet use numbers to describe their girlfriends( she is a 10) and actively do things to hurt them. Red pillers claim that you should listen to them for advice on how to attract "good women" but in their own personal lives date go…

Just like training, mma, technique, practice, analysis. Here is what I did in detail. I'd watch a video regarding a social technique or analyse someone I think speaks very well (comedians, professional wrestlers, infields, etc) Some of my more interesting inspirations are Jim Cornette, CM Punk and Hank Moody from Californication. I'd practice the technique on my friend groups platonically. I'd use the technique in a conversation and see how it worked. The technique I had the most success with wa…

You don't know the woman, and you are a stranger. It's often best to meet women in real life before communicating with them. Women are more likely to remember the man who walked up to them and had a conversation over the 1000th dm. You get low effort girls because texting girls on Instagram is low effort. Be interesting. A lot of the normal texting is boring small talk. Learn to flip the script, maybe ask a random question, throw in a reference, etc.

I definitely think it is an issue. But I think it is more of an echochamber issue. Red Pillers are quick to call rich and successful people who disagree with them losers. And most successful people disagree with them. Most democrats disagree with them. Most billionaires and millionaires support DEI initiatives and disagree on the misogyny. Most successful and attractive actors disagree with their misogynistic sentiments. But they will find some way to refute all their experience as fake or find …

You have to develop confidence in yourself by learning to be comfortable alone. And you do that by learning to enjoy your own company. Learn about the places around you. Go on solo trips. Pick up hobbies, etc. Once you do this you begin to care less and less about other people's thoughts and rejections.

I agree that the person who did that to you is an idiot. However, the internet is full of these people, both men and women. Go to any red pill forum and try and debate about female rights. They will call you all sorts of evil names, say you are a bad person. Some will even say they would like to SA you. Both men and women have stupid reactions to things on the internet. The key here is to take those reactions at face value for what they are: emotional reactions from adult children. There are ple…

Dating is harder, but I believe it has to do more with our generation lacking the skills of precious generations to connect with our surrounding people. Our generation is suffering from a loneliness crisis, a friendlessnessless essential crisis, and a mental health crisis all at the same time. It seems we are bad at con ecting with people in general, not just dating. A big part of that is that we do not have the skills to really connect with new people. People with thriving friend groups and the…

I'm just commenting again to add some context. I am a 5 8 overweight Black man who lives with his parents. I went to college at a PWI, so I felt even more ugly then. While all my white friends had dating lives, no one ever wanted to be with me. So after college, when I got my finance job, I decided to spend a few months learning to be alone. From that experience, I gained so much confidence. Without friends or family barking in my ears about what I should and shouldn't do, I learned more about t…

How to avoid Red Pill resentment Become comfortable with yourself and spend time with yourself. The feelings that generate Red Pill rage are a lack of comfort and understanding of one's self. Red pillers are constantly trying to abide by some other persons metric of success instead of building their own rubric and, in doing this, always fall short. I can hear that in you now talking about face cards and height. You need to become comfortable and proud of who you are, and that means taking the ti…

Cut off social media. I am serious. Being surrounded by images of attractive women and your friends can really sap your confidence. I know that once I cut off Instagram, I felt an immediate increase in confidence as I wasn't constantly watching trashy sexual content. If you can't cut off all social media, at least get rid of Instagram Take the time to learn about yourself. Self-knowledge creates confidence, and the only way you can really get that is by putting yourself in new situations. Become…

Neediness doesn't come from a lack of success with women. It comes from a lack of personal happiness. Usually, what helps me reduce my neediness is remember that I love my life just the way it is, and I do not need to add a person to it to be happy. Building a lifestyle where you get to travel, explore, and have a large friend group that genuinely likes you really helps reduce neediness as you do not have to seek validation from a stranger to feel good. You need to dedicate a lot of time to buil…

Honestly, I think it is the opposite. I think most red pillers are incels and want to be with the women they hate. And I think this way based on their actions. Most of the big players in the manospere refuse to settle down with "good women." They either try to be eternal playboys sleeping with the women they talk shit about or marry and get close to the women they "hate." And I do not think a person would spend a lifetime pursuing something they hate. All of their violent rhetoric is an attempt …

You would not be considered an incel but you will not address any of the real problems you have. Hiring a prostitute is the equivalent of duck taping a ship together. It can make the boat last a little longer, but ultimately, your boat is still going to sink. Also prostitutes will be terrible at getting you ready for sex for the following reasons. Prostitutes have no reason to tell you the truth about your sexual performance. So they will lie to you, and you will not improve. Prostitutes have se…

It's that PUA's trying to sell a course have intentionally lied to men who do not know any better. It's hard to sell a course when you emphasize that it will take 6 to 8 months of consistent physical effort for your tips and tricks to work. For most men, it would take 6 to 8 months for them to get in good enough shape for PUA to work.
