Don't argue with anyone for that matter. If the person sitting across from you is logical and sound, you are never arguing. This is called a discussion. As far as I have observed, blue-pilled simps might as well be women in a mans body.

Oh do I. Dated a girl who faked an ectopic pregnancy. Multiple visits to the ER and calling me around 10-11p on working days to visit her. There was this expectation that if I didn't show up then I didn't actually care about her. Even arriving late, her family and friends were throwing shade. Anyways, she said she had this kind of pregnancy. I did not believe her, so she decided to not only cut herself to show a 'surgery scar,' but she got one of her friends that worked at the hospital to forge …

Aye man, congrats on your success. Investing, staying disciplined, and going your own way pays off in dividends. 5 years ago it seems your net worth was about 100k (I am curious what kicked this off, a windfall?). Over the course of 5 years, according to your posts, you doubled your salary, paid over about 20k in student loan debt, and continued squirreling away and investing up to almost 1 million. According to that trend, 13 years (figure another million per 5 years) would land around the 3 mi…

First -- I do not believe in work life balance. It is more of a work life integration. Work cannot be separated from the home life and vice versa. If you are worried about free time, choose a career that you actually enjoy. Currently, I have picked the latter path. A slow week is about 55-60 hours. A typical week is about 60-70 hours. Busy weeks are about 80 hours. Money now is worth more than money later and being able invest a lot now means exponential gains later in life. My current bills are…

She basically said she doesnt care for sex... and will never care. Look. If you two have two fundamentally different outlooks on sex, the relationship has a shelf life. The longer you let it sit, the harder it will be to remove. You are 22. Men have done this with 20+ year relationships at 45, with kids, a house, etc. This is just an excuse you are telling yourself. Fundamentally, if a person truly cares about you then they will want what is best for you, even if it isn't them.

I wouldn't take a few posts as a representation of the majority here. In fact, I think the majority are lurkers such as myself. This being said, I am a minimalist and try to avoid unnecessary consumerism by all costs. I realize this was weeks ago, but this is the kind of stuff I am getting at. Every point you made I can relate to, but especially not being respected for sacrifices and lack of recognition. The things I achieve are just 'expected.' Something like "Oh, we knew you were gonna do this" or "of course you got an A." I feel like we could have a good conversation about this.

Why are more men offing themselves? It is obvious there are many answers to this, but I will suggest it is because of their displacement and loss of telos. As the 20th century poet Tupac Shakur once said: "Ain't nothin' worse than this cursed-ass hopeless life." (I acknowledge this is possibly a rhetorical question)

Initial cost + interest. The highest pay out loans (unsub) collect interest while in school. Looking at 4-5 years at a 4 -6.5% interest rate on loans that could flux from 3k -10k per semester (6k-20k/year). Then you add another 4 years for post-undergrad training where you take out even more expensive loans that also carry interest. For reference, my undergrad cost me (over 5 years) $34k out of pocket. This is with about 60% covered in grants and scholarships. That would have been 40k+ if I did …

Tough question. I do not think you need to be the archetype MGTOW to be going your own way, since going your own way is more about not giving up your freedom or potential as a human being. Insofar as you have clinical suicidal depression, this in itself inhibits an individual from doing the above, but is, to a degree, outside of their control (vs choosing to date a woman is within someone's control). Though, this is not something to get down about, but something to look to eventually overcome.

Grew up with 13 dogs. Things to keep in mind: If you are working long hours and live alone, the dog will be locked in your house by itself for that duration. That is, I think, unfair to the dog, especially depending on the breed. If you adopt/buy a puppy, expect things to be chewed. Do you research when training animals. There are many people that think that to train an animal simply means to physically hit it every time it makes a mistake. This is misguided. Consider cost factors such as vet bi…

If you constantly sit on the couch, do nothing, and now have to go step outside for 5 minutes so the dog can use the bathroom counts as making you physically active, then yes. Some people take their dogs out on trips, which is great. Mind you, dogs are not endurance animals. These people you see jogging with their dogs are morons.

I have not been what you have been through, but I can offer you this: It sounds that you have dedicated much of your time toward things that are external to yourself, i.e. your family, job, etc. You adapted to a certain kind of lifestyle and had it dropped. So my theory is what if the government is pushing the consumption of grains, soy products, etc and making it cheap to do so to feminize men in this society and to make them sick Few problems. Soy products are not necessarily cheaper (often they are more expensive). Even if they were cheaper, they are not heavily advertised like meat and dairy. Seems like everything here is aimed at men's rights. If you are serious about the research paper, you must consider the other side as well. The Gender Knot is a good place to start to understand what is meant by 'patriarchy' and exactly what feminism is attempting to address. There is certainly no shortage of literature, but this should give you a good springboard on a) what the perceived issues are and b) what is meant by patriarchy. From there, I would advise making a list of the main argument…

As you should be. It is problematic that they hold the belief that women are reducible to something akin to a pet and that men are reducible to an atm machine. It demonstrates a concerning lack of introspection and an impoverished idea of what a 'good' relationship should be.

I'd be perfect for some women to have because I'm young (23), in the military and that I know how to handle money. Interesting this is what they point out as a justification for marriage. I find it is entirely possible to share your views with a few things in mind. Pick and choose who you disclose your views to. Make sure the conversation warrants a response. Cultivate an internal stoic perspective. Work on your articulation and justification for your points. Most people are unreflective relativists. If you're looking to avoid hostility, create an environment of reflection. The goal should be them responding with "Hm, I didn't consider that point". This takes practice. The term '…

It isn't that bad, especially for where I live. Trimming the fat of expenses is a lifelong project. I have lived that way not out of choice. Was homeless after divorce in 1983, had to give ex-wife my car and move into a truck I bought, and live in campgrounds. Damn. I'm with you all the way on reducing expenses. I've got mine way down to the point where my passive incomes are more than enough to live on. I'm with you on this and this is ultimately my goal. My objective is to not 'have' to work. I figure 1-2 years to build capital and then establishing something better to snowball from there.

Exactly, why not be homeless? they are going to raise the insurance premium for car insurance I think this is problematic for those who live the nomadic life. I feel most people get into vandwelling specifically for the purpose of having the mobility. I am suggesting abandoning mobility and holding a professional full-time job while being without a permanent residence. So, a 500-1000 6 month premium would be drop in the bucket (maybe).

Schopenhauer more of a black pill philosopher than red (if we want to classify him). Nevertheless, my favorite line of this essay has always been: Women are suited to being the nurses and teachers of our earliest childhood precisely because they themselves are childish, silly and short-sighted, in a word big children, their whole lives long: a kind of intermediate stage between the child and the man, who is the actual human being, ‘man.
