So why should we allow surgery on infants that obviously cannot consent to the procedure? when there are possible long term effects at worst, and at best has a possibility of complications when increasing studies show that there are no real benefits to the procedure? EDIT: see below for sources, also keep in mind circumcision is not very common outside of the united states.

You might want to actually read your source to make sure it backs up your claim ;) "The American Academy of Pediatrics states that there are not enough benefits from circumcision to recommend it as a routine practice and that it is not medically necessary. What do you think is the cause of this issue, is it something from religious texts? or is it more of an issue of abused boys are more likely to grow up to be abusers? I definitely agree that people who are in power tend to be exploitative of that power.

you should read the article, he makes the point that he takes some absurd conclusion then cites "evidence" that doesn't even support his claim. Hes pointing out that this is what feminists do for things like rape culture and the wage gap. ok first of all, being unemployed is not equivalent to a low paying job at all as i doubt if any of them had a choice, they wouldn't be unemployed. Men are going to go toward jobs that pay more, because that is what they value most in a job. well the difference lies in which fields men and women get degrees in. Out of the top 10 top earning college degrees, 8 out of 10 are more than 80% male (nursing being the only one in the top 10 not at 50+%). After that you have to go down to #24 to get another one which is under 50%. Yes the end goal is to no longer be needed. I would no problem with Men's issues groups (i wouldn't say movement), where men can talk about problems they face just as i don't have problem with women doing the same.

Just look at the case with Erin Pizzey. She opened the first women's DV shelter. Then started receiving threats from feminists when she wanted to open a mens shelter too because of men needing help with being victims of domestic violence. You can just look at her wikipedia page and read from there.

As long as you have clear logical arguments, and have constructive criticism, post away. People get mad at feminists when they use personal attacks and don't even try to make a logical argument.
