Two consenting adults can decided to have whatever vows and have their marriage mean whatever they want it do. Free country. I would never do it but it's not our place to tell them what to do.

Sure. They can call it what they want for the benefit of pearl-clutchers that will judge them and make them less marketable. They have each been dating other people since the beginning of their marriage and it's an open secret to anyone that has been following them.

They've had an open relationship for years? Why is everyone complaining. Doesn't really matter if you think that's a good thing to do or not, they're adults that get to make their own decisions.
