Internet for women was a mistake.

Why do people like you have such a desire to find posts like these were someone is basically defeated about how women have so many rights compared to men and how men suffer so much more and then argue with 'patriarchy' as your best explanation? Like clearly it's feminism when women have all the rights. Women hate weak men the most.

If you're really interested in literature and you work hard then you'll be ahead of most of the women in your major. You can leverage this to find like minded people and against anyone who wants to put you down.

That's really too much of a doomer mindset to tell a young man. He might find a great gf in the future.

You might have it harder than many women but your life is by no means ruined. You're incredibly young, the world is still open for everyone that works hard and is conscientious. But it's probably good to not aim for mediocrity but for greatness. It basically sucks for all the boys that are neglected and passed over in favour of women but what can you do.

Yes but there's not much to do about it at the moment. The only thing one can do is to take personal responsibility and learn as many skills as possible. Make money and protect yourself against injustice.

College is more like supervised learning nowadays, you're not really free in what you want to learn and it's not a place for free thinkers. That's why young men opt out and forge their own path.

Deal with the 10, or 100, or 1000 people that need the help most today. And tomorrow repeat. This doesn't strike me as a particularly traditionally liberal position...

So creating ministers to create plans on how to help young people dissipates resources...but your collectivist and unclear idea of "helping people" doesn't?
/r/MensRights16/03/26 02:04 AM

Ok then let me respond constructively. Old people and rich people are already disproportionally represented by the government because politicians need their votes. And we need to ask how to represent disadvantaged boys and girls in every dimension. If you have ministers for boys and girls you automatically include poor boys/girls, you represent the focus on how cultural and societal changes affect boys/girls. Basically you introduce an extra layer of representation. Why would you be against this…

Is it? If they basically argue that there shouldn't be specific ministers that focus on the specific needs of boys and girls and they don't even show a good argument for it then why don't they deserve a rude response?
/r/MensRights16/03/26 12:52 AM

This is a stupid argument because boys and girls have different needs.

Please educate yourself, there are records that even neanderthals cared for the disabled, sick, and elderly. The world is not ableist.

You need to reformulate your argument, I don't know what you mean.

I am not saying anyone needs to be traditional, but personally I would want such a relationship. I studied physics and if I am intelligent, make good money and am a productive member of society then I deserve a woman who is beautiful, humble and good with children. Women are extremely picky nowadays, so I am not saying that they should only value successful men, they are already doing that. I advocate for them to be less disrespectful of the men who don't make it but I don't tell them who to hav…

I am sorry but unfortunately I completely reject your feminist view. I am not doing this out of spite but because I know that as a man nobody will gift me anything and I need to push as hard as possible to be successful. Feminists interpet this as patriarchy but it is because society is gynocentric and it denies many men to freely live masculinity. Feminism makes the mistake of thinking that 'maleness' is valued than what is valued is ingenuity, creativity and intelligence. Men simply are better…

Another thing is that feminists believe that if a non-assertive man gets attacked it's because society hates feminity which is wrong, it's actually because of misandry. Femininity is celebrated in society and men are told that if they get attacked for being non-assertive it's actually women who are the victims so they aren't even allowed to be angry about it. This is why feminism is pure evil.

I don't blame women, I blame feminism and those that push this ideology forward. You literally won't find a single feminist that would admit that men kill themselves more often because they have it harder than women. They think it's because 'patriarchy' is repressing their emotions which isn't true since men don't have a problem with expressing their emotions, the problem is that society doesn't like how they express them. Feminists also don't admit that the school system is tailored to women an…

It can be really hard to tell if a man is depressed because they are forced to hide it, many don't even know that they are depressed. I speak from experience.

My dad was not a physicist but was interested in physics. So the way I got interested in it was by listening to him and reading his books. But was I actively encouraged? He didn't talk to me much, it was basically me getting interested through observing what he did. I then on my own asked for books on physics. I was the only person in my class who knew about the four fundamental forces of nature, but between being scolded for being a bad student I was never encouraged in any special way but I st…

I'm very optimistic that it will get better, probably everyday there are feminists who see the error with their ideology and of course the smartest people who drive change forward are not feminists.

They simply don't have empathy for male issues, they are narcissists. Otherwise I can't explain why the most popular answer from feminists on why men commit more suicide is basically "because of toxic masculinity". They never think that it could be because men have it harder.

I mean it's not easy but I guess those girls were not physically harmed in any way? Soon after the beginning of the war I saw a post on TwoX of a girl getting raped by russian soldiers which was much more informative about the horrors some women have to endure. "We also had to hide every trace at home of my brother, who had gone to fight for Ukraine on the first day of the war. [...] Before we left, we erased almost everything from our phones - messages in Ukrainian, any mention of my brother." …

Also everyone nowadays expects men to be extremely emotionally intelligent but does anyone teach them how to be that? It's pretty hard when you're called creepy or predatory for every misstep you take. He might also just be a bit naive or unsure of himself. Men should be allowed to be like that without being demonized.

Nobody who actually wants to help men should associate with him. The vast majority of men think that 18 is a reasonable age for consent. It's not a feminist construct to think that 16 year olds and younger are children.

Maybe, but for example I want this applied to muslims or religious fanatics who kill women because they're women! So it's not that easy.

How is it a social construct when women who become pregnant and have children need to have a biological need for protection? Conversely a man needs to be useful in society to be able to protect someone.

"The perfect woman is a higher type of humanity than the perfect man, and also something much rarer." Most women are already perfect in the eyes of nature because they can bear children. But only with increasing beauty of a woman is it easy for her to be feminine, loving, caring and to find someone to love her. So what do the other women do, those who are less feminine and not humble enough to learn from men? That's where their narcissism takes over which they have because they need to take care…

Male liberation will come when every man understands his life, why his parents acted the way they did, why society treated him the way it did and why he saw men and women the way he did. Then he can decide how to live his life and will find happiness because he found purpose. In a way I think it is quite easy for a man to be happy, we have few biological needs and a lot of freedom to pursue almost anything. Most of us just get so violated from the time we are born to adulthood that we develope s…

I think it's very simple. The start has to be to acknowledge that the patriarchy exists because last time I checked most presidents were men. But then everything needs to be equal. Misogyny exists, misandry exists. Men uphold the patriarchy and women uphold the patriarchy. Nobody is responsible for creating that system because according to my notes humanity has existed for thousands of years. Everybody is responsible to do better.

What? I said that everyone who sits at a table with a Nazi is a Nazi.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates15/01/26 09:47 AM

That might be how revolutions happen but it is an illusion to believe a revolution can happen or should happen. It does not matter. Do or do not, there is no try. Yes, they exist in silent complacency for their own reasons. But that is the nature of things, that we can only act like we feel even when we have pure ideas.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/01/26 06:20 AM

Yes those feminists are the silent minority, I can assure you there. What's stopping them? You just said they are a minority and how can a minority control the majority when they both disagree with each other?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/01/26 05:39 AM

Yes and this might be true for Nazis. But I don't feel the need to think that I'm a radfem if I sit at the table with three radfems. Question the dogma.

That is not what I mean. There ARE people who label themselves as feminist and don't care about male circumcision. I just think there can be a feminism that truly understands both men and women and that there ARE feminists who espouse that idea.

Maybe it would be helpful to differentiate between feminism and radical feminism? I don't see radical feminists as feminists and don't think a true feminist wouldn't argue against circumcision. Still of course I understand your frustration.

Yes I should have been more precise in what I mean with STEM. Still, to me interest is similar to ability but I understand better what you mean now.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates12/01/26 04:25 PM
2

Yes you are right. If men are simply better at STEM it is sadly impossible to create equality here. Women just need to find their own place. If a woman is interested in physics she has to choose it for herself and not think inequality is a problem. So teach women they can do anything they want but it doesn't mean we will have 50/50 in STEM.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
