| 2 | Would you be willing to g to forgo all casual sex if it meant dating went back to how it was before?Yes, so it’s interesting why we think it ever was that way. Maybe it was what the elites did (since virginity was relevant to property) and that filtered down to become what we mistakenly think was the default? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/01/25 06:25 PM |
| 1 | Most Women Use Dating Apps Like Men Wish They CouldMen and women tend to want different things in dating. Picture two bell curves that overlap in part. This isn’t complicated. OLD isn’t good for anybody. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/10/24 02:18 AM |
| – | Why "Objectification" is bull. (Pro porn rant part 3)I thought this kind of pseudoscience ended with Kinsey. No, porn doesn’t make you impotent. Why isn’t it enough for people to say, “this thing isn’t for me. I find it distasteful -OR- I like it to an unhealthy extent, so I’m not going to consume it.” I’m an alcoholic. I know I can’t drink responsibly, so I don’t. I don’t go around calling for Prohibition 2.0, and alcohol does a LOT more objectively provable harm than dirty movies. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/10/24 01:12 AM |
| – | Why "Objectification" is bull. (Pro porn rant part 3)“Objectification” is a literary theory / political theory term that some people use to mean, basically, “ewww, men like looking at pretty women, their sexuality isn’t like mine, gross!” Does real objectification happen? Absolutely. 9 out of 10 times, though, thats the feeling that people are expressing when they use the word. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/10/24 12:02 AM |
| – | Why "Objectification" is bull. (Pro porn rant part 3)This was very thought out. You can tell you’re speaking a difficult truth when people downvote you without addressing your argument. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/10/24 11:55 PM |
| 1 | I think people need to accept the fact women just don't enjoy sex.Lucky. I wish my meds did that. It’s less of an issue then when I was younger but still. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/09/24 09:26 PM |
| 1 | Are women even sexually attracted to men? It’s not your problem. You asked a question, they answered. Having standards and being picky are the same thing seen from the pov of the picker or the pickee. | /r/ExRedPill | 12/05/24 08:47 PM |
| – | We’re All Someone Else’s VillainGood, practical advice, thanks. The funny thing is that I’m married, but I don’t think I ever really learned how to flirt since I WAS sort of an orbiter and lucked into meeting a wonderful and self-possessed woman who took the lead in things. Now that we’re a few years on and things are cooling down romantically I’m struggling with how to… flirt with my wife, as silly as that sounds. Sorry for the life story there. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/04/24 01:20 AM |
| – | We’re All Someone Else’s VillainI’m not sure my post was really about morality. Yeah we should all work to make the world better, but groups of people have a funny way of pursuing their own interests no matter what they say. Just because someone is the underdog doesn’t make them more virtuous. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/04/24 01:10 AM |
| 1 | If you had a son and he asked you how he can become a man, what advice would you give him ?Yeah that’s true as well and is the other side of the coin. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/08/23 01:02 AM |
| 2 | If you had a son and he asked you how he can become a man, what advice would you give him ?Well ok, that’s probably true but that’s always going to be so much harder to define. Gender rolls are so fraught and unstable across time and cultures. I suppose… if I had a son, I’d want him to be aware of the “space” he takes up and to be considerate. Men have a lot of power in their height and their voices and it’s easy to overshadow or frighten people when you don’t mean to. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/08/23 12:34 AM |
| 3 | If you had a son and he asked you how he can become a man, what advice would you give him ?I’d say that’s pretty much the point; be a good person and you’re 99% there. That last 1% that’s wholly male? Idk, “work that vajayjay?” | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/08/23 12:02 AM |
| 1 | Why is male sexuality seen as disgusting and abhorrent while female sexuality is seen as beautiful and pure?I know we’re supposed to disparage evo psych, but it explains so much of our society and behavior that it’s almost contrarian in some cases. | /r/MensRights | 04/02/22 03:26 AM |
