I think it's important to set standards. When I first did anything with my SO we both communicated clearly and it not only helps prevent problems but makes everything way more enjoyable. Communication during sex is 100% needed always

I think people need to properly communicate when in bed. I'm able to understand my SO 99% of the time if she says no but means yes. And if I'm unsure I stop, if I read it as a stop I stop, and if it's a false positive they stop me with their hand. Saying it twice I can see, needing 3 or more is just bad communication.

With another 15 or 16 year old, a person that age can consent. When it's with an authority figure it's a totally different thing. I agree but if we teach proper consent (which is easy btw, just add it to existing curriculums and ensure comprehensive sex education throughout the country or world ideally) then a jury can better make judgements. Not only in cases or rape but also in cases of false accusations. We have a jury system, but if the jury is uneducated it's worthless.

I don't think consent is taught properly. Everyone knows the basic yes or no but many people ignore the age of consent or ignore when someone revokes consent during sex. I think most know it, but many don't. Also many people think men are always consenting when that's just false. I agree rape is a deliberate act, but teaching consent better will also help in getting rape punished. I actually see the consent issue as 2 way. There's many people who don't know what consent is or defend statutory rape in many situations. I personally think people lying about rape with malicious intent should be required to register as sex offenders and should get a sentence similar to that of rape. The only issue is that creates more pressure on the accuser but we should work to make rape of all kind a more openly discussed issue and that will help remove pressure

I agree but there's definitely things that can be fixed. Like I think fixing workplace deaths, teaching all students about proper consent, and better mental health services would benefit everyone. I mean really these are things no one should be against, and benefit everyone. We just need to ensure that any plans to fix such issues are plans aimed to help everyone.

Men face many social issues. I don't think it's so black and white. I think we should work to end all the issues rather than arguing over who deals with what. The issue is some groups who pretend to work for equality actively push an incorrect narrative and that causes arguments over who's more oppressed.

Yes, but men are the targets of the #metoo movement, so if a woman is the harasser nothing happens. Man on woman and man on man are hated, rightfully so, but woman on man is fine (or non-existent in extreme cases) as far as #metoo is concerned.

It was a really fair system in my opinion. The teacher, and that particular sub, had clear rules for what was a strike. Like speaking without raising a hand once isn't, but clearly disobeying instructions is.

I completely agree. Currently anyone can get a job, and if they can't there is government programs to help jobless people. Alimony shouldn't be forced. Child support is more nuanced, so it's a case by case thing. The government always favors the woman in a relationship too. This is why I'm getting a prenup if I do get married, which may not happen. It'll be fair, unlike divorce without anything.

I can understand quiting a job for some reason, but that should be done with the understanding that they will eventually need to get a job if economic conditions worsen or the relationship ends. There's nothing inherently wrong in not working and living off your SO's earnings as long as it's okay with your SO and you understand that you aren't entitled to their money at any point. This should be known in any relationship, married or not, and everyone should understand this.
