0	Dangers of complimenting women? Dude I’m not going to lie to you, and I’ll probably get downvoted to hell as well, but this is the wrong place for advice on something like this. You gave her a compliment and she took it the wrong way. There’s nothing else going on here. You said something, she interpreted it in a way that offended her. Neither of you are in the wrong here.
