Maybe, maybe not. As Lasttoflinch points out the term has specific definitions in the UK and so using it otherwise can count as libel if reported as such in news stories leading to a publication being sued. As a male, I will intentionally cross the street if a woman or kids are walking in my direction I mean I'll step off the curb to go around a group regardless of the make up as one person moving is far less displacement and easier than an entire incohesive group trying to navigate around a single person. In the case of your example I've also likely got far more road awareness than a group of kids as in general they're focusing on their group and not the outside environment.

Even before that all happened there are cases where people that have provided first aid or rapid response have been sued by the person they were saving, like how someone sued another for cracking their ribs during CPR. Problem is that's the point, you need to be that forceful since you're not stimulating the lungs, you're trying to get the heart pumping which needs you to be forceful enough to crack ribs.

Nah it's far more fun to point out the poor design changes like how the Doctor now needs 3 companions instead of just 1 because of the recent changes. They haven't done a proper group companion line up in decades, since even when Rory ran with 11 he wasn't always there/alive/existing, because the 2 big recent changes of Doctor from man to woman and group from 1 ish to 3 aren't implying a woman needs more help than the men preceding her, right? 🤔

I'd consider the pivot to be more likely caused by the reaction she got from her attempts at creating the Social Autopsy site. The idea of the site was to track online trolls and other sources of trouble, removing some degree of anonymity that can aid false flagging amongst other things, by connecting any [and possibly all] email address and such someone uses to related online accounts. Now she may have been sincere in this idea, but I think it would be naive in that case as it's not that simple…
