Truth? I fear for my son way more than my daughter. No one will be there for him except me. No one will listen to his problem but to shame him. I always felt guilty of for bringing him into this world to suffer. Would you say, then, that you're a regretful parent and wish you hadn't procreated? I ask this because of what you said in the last sentence about feeling guilt for bringing him into this world.

I think a lot of dress codes are absurd and reflect our warped ideas of what a gender 'ought' to dress like (e.g. men's not being able to have long hair or not being able to have it loose while on the job, or women's being required to wear high heels and a skirt instead of pants). Both are utterly, utterly absurd, because as long as a school student, an employee, etc., can do their work and is respectfully dressed, who gives a shit about these trashy dress codes? Good for you, son!

all feminists Well, not all feminists, as I am one, and this one is not like this at all. I'm more along the lines of thinking which condemns all kinds of forced circumcision or genital mutilation, whether it be penile mutilation, vulval mutilation, or where an intersex person's bodily integrity is violated. As a matter of fact, I learned about this the other day on /r/Intactivism and wrote this about her actions on there, which for some odd reason seems to have been destroyed by downvotes. This…

It really bothers me that this happened to you, so I'm sorry that it did. Just because one makes a joke about rape - which, yes, is unacceptable, as rape is no laughing matter - does not make one a rapist, nor does it mean that one is condoning rape or sexual assault. If your classmate was uncomfortable, well, sure, that's one thing, but to run to the headteacher's office and tell them that you made her feel whatever she is feeling is so, so unreasonable. You didn't see what (if anything) has ha…

This post is quite lovely, actually. It is lovely to see these men being comradely, especially since men who are combatants are always pigeonholed by society as these aggressive beasts who can't control themselves being physically violent with each other, with women, with children, and with others of other genders. Thanks a lot for posting this.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
