I'm speaking from a US perspective so it may not directly apply. But you're missing the reasoning behind alimony. Alimony is not a punishment for divorce. While married and sharing finances, it is common for one party to make personal career sacrifices for the good of the household. 2	Women who are proven to have lied about rape should be required to register as sex offenders. Not being able to prove the charge doesn't mean the charge was made up. I expect most claims that don't convict are stopped due to lack of evidence or inconsistencies, not obtaining proof that the accuser was lying. Then no counter case is put forward. I bet most of the people on the list deserve it, but the existence of some people on it that arguably aren't dangerous delegitimizes the list.
