Oh yeah, sooo many scientific and technological advances coming out of Islamic countries huh.. I saw on tv that with muslims being 23% of world population, they produce 4% of books.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judy_Sheindlin#Salary It was later reported in October 2013 that Sheindlin is the highest-paid TV star, earning $47 million per year for Judge Judy. TV judge $47 million vs real judge $200,000. Hard decision.

The first programming book I looked at was in Grade 8, I knew I wanted to be a programmer: https://www.amazon.com/Guide-Fortran-Programming-Daniel-McCracken/dp/0471582816 At about age 16 I was invited by the local university to do Programming in UCSD Pascal and using a Compucolor and later an Apple II. I designed an operating system at high school. This was not the sort of think the average kid did in the 1970s.

I did a B.Sc. majoring in statistics. Then I did a postgrad degee in computer science and moved into software. That can be a good career. One of the people I studied statistics still works in that field. Another got a math Ph,D. and has her own consulting company. Another is high up in government & works on tax issues. I got laid off then moved into math/science teaching. Teaching in government schools is terrible, students are out of control. However I do private maths tutoring which is enjoyab…

Not the answer you were looking for: Math graduate here. Read https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friendship_paradox Essentially your friends will have more friends than you. They will appear more successful too. The ones that are not successful will leave your sphere of influence.

Despite Trump being outrageous, she still lost. In other words, she has less reliability than somebody who said : "The U.S. cannot allow EBOLA-infected people back. People that go to far away places to help out are great - but must suffer the consequences!" I know more about #ISIS than the generals do, believe me. Grab Her By The Pussy Hillary, if you can't win against that, it only one person's fault.

You are telling hum not to go to a therapist without knowing the basic things they teach. CBT is cognitive behavioural therapy, ACT is Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. They are offered by therapists & many people have been helped through them.

For those who have taken anti-depressants, did the medicine help you regain order in your life? Without ant-depressants at the time, I would not have been able to hold down a job. It takes a while to get used to them, give it a month at least to start to become familiar. They do not affect weight at all, except wellbutrin which may help you lose weight.

Yes. Just read the FAQs. If you don't like it, . move on. Just remember TRP is a sexual strategy at its core, but it also helps explain some modern behaviour trends. Personally it has helped me understand the money-hungry behaviour of some crazy female relatives.

dark triad personalities, ie: narcissism, psychopathy, and machiavellianism Most narcissism is unproductive. My sister has a diagnosed personality disorder. I have no idea why you would think of these as positive traits. I would describe her as evil & would not wish here on anybody. Many people with personality disorder are jobless, as was my sister (she was kicked out of nursing & ordered by a court to see a psychiatrist).

Dude, "you were expecting more" at one point but maybe she was not. If she invites you to her room, she probably spent time cleaning & making things nice "just in case", maybe got some drinks "just in case". This was her move & your response is to walk away. Its a bit more serious than a kiss on the cheek. You might want to backtrack & tell her you were feeling sick & had to go, but I don't think your chances are good.

I seriously believe that dating sites do women more harm than men. Women have a shelf life. If Rupert Murdoch has a kid at 80 or Charlie Chaplin at 73, good on them. Men can increase their peceived value by being rich, famous, or even being in the military. Like a bottle of wine they can improve with age, with women there is a clock ticking.

I suspect she places no value on her time and projects that on to you. You're a professional busy guy who leads a busy life. You need to schedule events. She doesn't value your timetable so she doesn't value you. Since she doesn't value you, you can draw your own conclusions what to do.

Never give up. Tom Haffey Hafey's passion for fitness was legendary; every morning he woke up at 5:20 and went for an 8 km run, followed by 250 push-ups and a swim in Port Phillip Bay, and when he got home he did 700 crunches and sit-ups. Did this every day til he died aged 82.

On the other hand, "Focus on yourself", "you are the only person you can control" etc is solipsistic or myopic at best. If you let the world around you burn, This is why I've been focusing on the military mindset. Master self discipline and look after your buddies first (they'll be looking out for you too). Lots of good red pill knowledge if you look at what the military does.

/r/askTRP02/05/16 05:45 PM

I suggest reading "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" to help you one your journey. How do you not revert to old habits? Self discipline, which is not the same as motivation. For me, reading about self discipline in the military helped a lot, because its part of an overall "package" designed to make you a better person (put the team first and karma will flow back to you, be humble about your achievements, etc). Self discipline is an essential part of the job.
/r/askTRP02/05/16 05:37 PM
1

Post save for later reference. Trouble with us older guys is we needed this info 20 years ago. I'd add the self discipline is hugely important. Everyone can have goals and time goes by fast, you need to fill your day with what's important and execute your plan with military precision.
/r/TheRedPill01/05/16 08:04 AM
1

Its also why geeky guys don't get it (including me until a few years ago). Its just not on the radar of interests. I can see why military guys get it, they are used to raw emotions under stress, leadership, confronting conflict, athleticism.

I have a similar story. Friend I knew got married, few years later both parents passed away, he inherits $500K. Wife then wants a divorce and walks away with $250K. He was devastated.
/r/TheRedPill30/03/16 01:45 PM
1

The problem here is the wife owns 50% of the assets. That means she owns half the business. In a divorce, they would have to sell the whole business & she gets half, or liquidate the assets ie sell all the assets at auction. Either way, nobody in the family owns the business, one you may have spent generations making. To protect assets and do inter-generational planning, you need lawyers.

It comes down to selfishness and self realisation. If the girl likes you, she will know the food is part of the ritual and make the date inexpensive. If they are a narcissist, they will just use you for your money. Sounds like this 33yo will be a lonely 50yo.

Its unfortunate that this sub is notorious for being a convention for pickup artists, when its really about alpha male behaviour/lifestyle.

Because they think the sole purpose here is to learn how to string 10 women along at the some time. That does not fit with some agendas. Well there are a lot of people here who just want tips on living a better life. There are certain behaviour patterns that some women have, just are there are typical male bahaviours. This just highlights them & how to react. Its no more offensive than /r/depression or /r/raisedbynarcissists .

I told my close relatives how much I was earning. Sure enough my unemployed sister weasels her way into wanting this and that and I should pay for it. I have since learned NOT to talk about finances with anybody I can't trust.

That's narcissistic bahaviour. I often post at /r/raisedbynarcissists & you are welcome to look at the stories there. Bottom line is you can't change these sort of people & you need to put yourself first. Have a look at this.

So are you asking whether supplementing Vit D and C boosts testosterone. The answer is no. Hemochromatosis is treated by you giving blood. Taking testosterone at age 27 is unusual, you need specialist advice. With all that going on I suggest you see an endocrinologist.

Its a game to change public perceptions. The police want a conviction, so they run the case like a murder. Whether he is innocent is irrelevant to them. 150 women who had sex will be paraded out at the trial as evidence of bad character ....

The accused hasn't been back to the apartment after the death. The police have locked it down as a murder scene. Maybe the evidence of his innocence will "disappear" ??!!

I have a sister who is a malignant narcissist. Got the parents to mortgage the family home & give her the money, stole their pension money as well. Pure evil, and I suspected nothing most of the times because "human beings never behave like that" - well some do. And the USA calls itself a democracy? Here in Australia it would be political suicide to propose something like that. Its effectively conscription, and to tie it to voting is morally reprehensible. And this is from a country that supports USA and has fought alongside USA in conflicts since WWII. We had conscription for a few years during the Vietnam War, but it would have to be WWIII before it was reintroduced here.

Agreed. OP you need to focus on college and career first. A good career gives you options to move town, settle down, job satisfaction, employment options, and financial stability. Women want decisive guys with good prospects, you need to make that No 1 priority, and the rest will follow.

Her being happy angers you? Cognitive reframing needed. She is showing anxiety, and wanting you to relieve that anxiety. She is using a "catch and release" strategy, contacting you again and again. Whatever your action, she needs to know she's unimportant, and you if you contact her its on a whim. You need to move on if there is no hope of the relationship going forward - and I think there is very little hope of that. And a friend-with-benefits arrangement is not in your interests.

Dont. I was a beta male, and from all the stuff I've read here, you need to stick up from yourself. You are number one, not your soon to be ex wife. You must put yourself Number 1. And don't be afraid to be assertive (not aggressive) when she plays BS games. Have a look at assertiveness training. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EG-iLY7Hlmo

I'll analyse it as an amateur psychologist. You wife is showing narcissistic behaviour. Narcissists are great with double think - holding two incompatible ideas at the same time. She is also attempting to rationalise her previous behaviour, leading to cognitive dissonance. You as a man think rationally, and can't stand the cognitive dissonance you wife is exhibiting. in essence you are trying to rationalise you wife's irrational behaviour, which is giving you anxiety. You feel mentally ill becau…
