Looking at the rates among men/women can be misleading, because for one, there are more women than men, and for two, men can get breast cancer as well. Your claim was that breast cancer and prostate cancer kill a similar number of people, so why don't we look directly at the number of people killed by each form of cancer. That's totally understandable. But there are plenty of free ways to help the cause too! For example, you can spread the word and encourage others to donate, like I'm doing now. If for whatever reason you can't help in any way, it might be best -- even just for your own credibility -- not to shit on the folks who can and do.

This fundraiser for helping gay men in Chechnya escape persecution. The situation there is truly awful. This seems like a strange non sequitur. I'm simply stating facts and letting the reader come to their own conclusions. No one has made any of the claims you seem to be arguing against. You appear to be tilting at windmills. There's currently a stickied post on the front page of menslib encouraging people to donate to an organization that helps rescue gay men in Chechnya from persecution. It has around 800 upvotes. The exact same post is currently stickied at the top of this subreddit. A subreddit that has about 7 times as many subscribers as menslib. It has about 100 upvotes.

Actually I lost a friend to suicide when I was 14. I myself was hospitalized by a friend for coming pretty close to killing myself. Suicide is one of the many issues that got me interested in men's issues, and this conversation is a good example of why, despite that, I don't feel the MRM represents my or most men's interests. This discussion has gone off the rails. I don't think either of us are getting anywhere here. Have a good one, and good luck with this place.

This only makes sense if you think American women = white women. White women voters mostly voted for trump. Women voters mostly voted for Clinton. You should know that comments like these are really, really easy fodder for people who claim that this sub isn't really interested in non-white folks.
