Dude you’re 16 😭 you won’t see it yet but you’re basically a baby. I lost mine @ 16 basically by just acting like it was all normal. (Which it is lol given the human population). You’ll get there bro Piece of advice tho : people your age don’t know shit. & The “worst” person morally that you know is probably the one who can help you the most.

It was from awhile ago and without any nuance. They could have only surveyed 10 ppl in Arizona for all We know. But it’s still my favorite

To be fair, 40% of our adults thought chocolate milk came from brown cows so... expectations weren’t that high

Couldn’t have said it better myself :)

Yeah I get that and I agree but I think of it as more of a sliding scale than a leagues and levels type of thing. Also thinking someone’s “out of your league” really does nothing but diminish your confidence. Which, to use your terms , would arguably boost your currency

Remain pessimistic if you wish. I’m a slightly above average man (definitely not an eye turner) and having confidence is the factor that improved my life the most. In every area

They don’t exclusively end up together lol what CONFIDENT people tend to end up with eachother, if that confidence comes from them feeling good about their appearance then oh well Come on bruh

I’m a firm believer that leagues don’t exist

Totally understand why people wouldn’t want it tho. I only have snap because of the memories feature and group chats.

Nah cuz it’s the only way I know how to promote my art and business. And I like having a place to put pictures of myself so I can remind myself on rainy days that I’m more than just what happens to me

Personally I wouldn’t if I didn’t enjoy the date. She probably wouldn’t want to if she didn’t enjoy it either so

Reading this felt like 6 reality punches to the chest man. I’m confident in saying that (perhaps due to this community) I’ve all but eliminated my fear of approach, but that fear of “fucking up” is still definitely floating in my head because I keep subconsciously putting too much value on these women. My head goes: “since everyone’s unique, and unique things are special, then everyone is special in their own regard”, which I don’t think is necessarily wrong, I think I just need to know when to …

Do you do approaches or just wait for them to approach you?

Admittedly less than I’d like. I’ve always been good w words whether it be on or offline (obviously some things work better online but I love being able to use facial expressions and body language to gauge things) but the fact of the matter is this: I’m a dancer and artist who’s friend group consists of a basketball player, a soccer player, and a guy with immaculate style. I love my guys but it’s a little difficult going out to game when they look at where u just came from and see a 6’3 lightski…

Not all the time, but I’d say with abt 50% of the girls I end up talking to/flirting w, I end up doing that. I didn’t realize it at first because I’m just a really expressive guy when it comes to things I like. What slapped me into reality was when someone said “wowww you really treat me like I’m Beyoncé 🥺”, and I realized I was fucking up. Granted I was trying a different method of flirting w her than I usually do but still So short answer: yes

Mm I get most of what you mean, I wanna hear her talk abt herself, not talk too much abt myself What exactly is “polite skepticism” tho? Can u give me an example?

I’m pretty sure his method applies only to people who he isn’t already boyfriend/girlfriend with. I feel like that was pretty obvious

Never said "be yourself". That mainstream ass approach definitely does not work. The way you worded it just sounded like u meant for him to pretend to be someone he's not to a point where it could potentially backfire if he isn't consistent enough

Change his whole personality? Why do I feel like tht could end really badly in the long run
