What double standard?

Whatever my reply, you have already decided what's right. And of course I think there are issues with how men and women are perceived and treated differently (both bad, sometimes) and the same situations don't apply to both genders. But to answer your question, I would say the same if someone was making such a fuss based on such low (or fictional) info and was a woman, an elf, or an alien. People come to this site to create stories all the time, present their one-sided stories and get a bit of a…

Is this always the argument here? Women/feminism bad? You are as bad as you think the other side is. Toxic cesspool.

A lot of "most likely" and a lot of projecting. "Feminism bad" has nothing to do with this situation. You get a little information, one-sided and you jump to so many conclusions. These are productive chats to have, but you are doing exactly what you "accuse" feminists of: you are looking at this completely one-sided. Are you the baddie?

Same for me. I despise the toxic comments and the overall atmosphere but I acknowledge that men's rights is a healthy thing to talk about, for women and men alike. I don't think that the issues raised here should be a verbal (or not) fight between the bad women and the glorious men, but that there are issues that should be talked about. This is not the place it seems, it's so full of incel and MGTOW mentality that every point raised is devalued by the comments following it.

It's not my version of hateful narrative - I don't know where you got that from. When I see posts and comments like the one that started the chain I replied to being antiwoman instead of proman, I spot the same toxicity that penetrate groups by people taking extreme positions. As much as I condemn extreme feminists being hateful towards men just because they are men, I condemn these comments that do the same here. To be frank, your comment is out of place.

The sh*t I sometimes read on this sub gives me extreme-feminist vibes. It's a shame how rational voices in both groups get silenced by these lying cries for attention.

Wow. Exploiting a comment exploiting the slaughter of (mostly) males to vilify all feminists! You mensrighters are SUCH class acts! On a side note: Fuck this woman and this generalizing mentality.

Why is having a father figure so important in these conversations? I've read a lot of comments in both subs and I see a lot of people saying that lacking a father figure led to them being awkward, but no comment I read was saying "Thanks to my Dad, I learned how to go out with anyone I wanted". I think the ones missing a father figure attribute their behaviour there, while it's mostly insignificant.

Sorry, I am a man too but I am not in a crusade against anything. I tend to upvote the posts of this sub (especially in issues of domestic abuse where men aren't likely to be treated seriously by authorities) but the comments are most likely always against women instead of supporting men. Ive had women tell me that they are victims of domestic violence and they qualify for all kinds of goverment help from food, rent and even including cell phone. OP is attacking women that had the same horrible …

So, are you negating women's experiences because of the way you were treated?

I don't think it's about feminism, or what they want. It's about how society as a whole sees men being hit by women. Even this guy the first time found it hilarious. "Me, a big bad-ass man got hit SO HARD by my ex I bled out. WTF, right?". That is what is wrong. Accepting violence just because you are supposed to be MORE violent, stronger.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
