Personally for first dates I try to do drinks or coffee (lower commitment) but we sometimes end up getting food too. I always try to pay for the first date, I think it's nice and for better or worse many women expect it. Green flag if she offers to pay half (usually I'll tell her she can pay next time) or is thankful. Red flag if she doesn't say anything and seems to just assume you'll pay. Good response. I also try to get off the app ASAP...within the first few messages I will ask for her number. Makes it more "real" and separates you from the likely dozens or hundreds of likes/matches she has. Try and setup a date that week, keep the momentum going. First date almost always a quick drink to make sure we're both somewhat normal 😂 then go from there. Once you meet in person it becomes way easier.

Maybe I'm a dumbass but I don't go on multiple dates and make out with someone if I'm not attracted to them. Sure she slept with the other guy quicker...could be a million different reasons. Who cares, it's in the past. OP shouldn't compare or take that personal

Yup, especially if you haven't even met or gone on a date yet. Be polite and don't burn the bridge but don't waste any energy. My experience with online dating is this happens about half the time 😂 very common and don't take it personally
