Anything you take that is addictive or mind altering is just a band aid unfortunately. Also sleeping pill overuse (benzo's) can cause dementia too. I have an addict background and was a sleeping pill addict I have no problem sleeping now and I do understand your frustrations. My recommendation is ripping off the band aid and not taking anything. If it helps I was a loser in high school and I do not care at all about any of it anymore. Time goes on and you won't care soon enough just try and skip over those thoughts of self doubt and missed opportunities. Yes I am better than ever now been sober for years and am focusing on being healthy, lifting and staying connected with fellow sober addicts. I look back on my former self and feel like it was a completely different person. I really wish everyone had the chance to do that. unfortunately though when we are in the thick of it, it's feels like there is no way out. My heart goes out to anyone who felt hopeless enough to end their life.

I have been there. 2 suicide attempts in my 20's people would have said exactly what you are saying if I had of succeeded. I was a lonely and battling alcoholism and eventually drug addiction. At the age of 24 I wasn't yet at my worst but I was already suicidal. I thought I was alone and the only one. I was powerless over my struggles and the people around me even more so. Some of us just don't make it through before we get a chance to get well. Sorry to hear.

Haha I actually did exactly that with the ring earlier. I really didn't expect the hand hold rejection we were walking along and I felt like it was right. I really though she was joking till the second time. Anyway I felt this date might have stretched out too long also so I might just cut it shorter next time instead of it being aimless for the last half. Cheers for the reply

I am lucky enough to have two friends I would call bro's Yeah life gets in the way though I'm in my 30's now and things like their ltr's, family's and our careers do drive a wedge between what used to be hanging out every other day. Even if I haven't seen them for months though and they need me I'll be there and it works both ways. It is kinda un conditional like that. It's like that when you grow up with someone.

Lockdown was hard for me I got oneitis for a girl that was a bad option to start with and I wasn't even fucking her. I started dating now that things are back open and am like WTF was I doing. Anyway.. I think it's a bit early to be thinking that far ahead with this girl get some fucking done first. If you are good in time she will start falling for you and pushing for your commitment. Less is better to me because you can say shit that talks her out of meeting you and not even know it. See it feels natural to text a whole bunch before you meet her but it serves no purpose and can be counter productive. Just ask her how her week is then set up the date man. It works and if it doesn't work she probably was never gonna meet up with you no matter how nice your convo was.

Don't engage in gossip I stopped that shit along time ago before I ever heard of red pill. Everytime one of my friends is gossiping I act disinterested and don't engaged.
