Was Foreskin Evolution’s Great Mistake? — Queer MajorityFYI: If you READ the article it is clearly positioning itself against routine MGM. The title of the article is more of a rhetorical question meant to illicit some of the strong stances taken here. | /r/MensRights | 30/01/24 10:20 PM
When people say "Men have a day, international men's day is November 19th" just a reminder that the UN does not recognize international mens day.Thank you for responding. It’s crazy how much there is to know when it comes to men’s issues. Of course inequality for men would seem non-existent when you intentionally design a metric that doesn’t recognize it. | /r/MensRights | 08/03/20 06:00 PM

This is Ulwaluko, a particularly damaging form of circumcision practiced in South Africa. Many die or suffer severe disfiguration, yet it's completely ignored by the U.NGuys what do you not understand about this? It's tradition! Women won't want to fuck then if they have an uninfected or un-deformed penis. Plus think of the locker room, all the other boys will make fun of him for not being disfigured. I don't see an issue with this. | /r/MensRights | 01/09/17 12:30 AM
Bad moms movie: Uncircumcised men are grossExcept that's a real issue for the group...Who see it as a major violation of bodily autonomy, which ultimately they are asking you to respect. | /r/MensRights | 20/01/17 06:20 PM
it is our privilegeNope, America did have a draft going in WW2. It was much smaller than other drafts we've had but there was still a draft. | /r/MensRights | 27/04/16 01:18 PM
I understand why people are against female genital mutilation, but why does no one care about male genital mutilation? It is in accurate in that I generalized the surgeries by saying "lip skin" and not labia majora and labia minora and the other specific parts removed. I also completely forgot about the third one and how it involves covering the vaginal canal. However it does say partial in all of the classifications(hold the last one) and when it comes to removing any part of the labia, yes of course it's major it just straight up is. Removing a partial amount of lip skin not the whole thing but a partial amoun… | /r/MensRights | 07/10/15 10:55 AM
I understand why people are against female genital mutilation, but why does no one care about male genital mutilation? You have some major misconceptions about FGM man. The WHO has 4 distinct kinds, only one of them involves removal of the clitoris all the others are just taking some lip skin. Also the whole "so they don't expirence sexual pleasure" piece of it is inaccurate as to how the locals view it. I said you should be against MGM if you are against FGM not because of "equality"(notice how I never used that word) but because if you read the NY times article I sited, they have almost parallel reasons to do … | /r/MensRights | 07/10/15 01:54 AM
I understand why people are against female genital mutilation, but why does no one care about male genital mutilation? Not mandated in Christianity but it is mandated in the Torah(Judaism). That's not why circumcision is prevalent in America, it's because of the puritans trying to stop masturbation. Ironically they wanted to pour acid in the clitoris to stop women from doing it but that just didn't catch on as much as a quick snip to the Johnson. | /r/MensRights | 07/10/15 12:01 AM
I understand why people are against female genital mutilation, but why does no one care about male genital mutilation?Have no idea why you were being down voted man, you are right in every single way. Especially the part about women who have had that done to them Saying it's fine and apart of their culture. What /u/Rwillsays is saying is exactly how most people would react to the this. /u/Rwillsays I know you don't feel like anything bad happend to you, but ask yourself are you okay with FGM? If you arent then you should be equally disturbed by MGM. The same way your parents had you circumcised most likely due … | /r/MensRights | 06/10/15 11:50 PM
I understand why people are against female genital mutilation, but why does no one care about male genital mutilation? When I said Islamic law what I meant was religion and because their religion is so huge it is almost de facto law. In Judaism and Islam it is required to be circumcised, that's what it says in the Jewish Torah. In Catholicism it is optional, however some people who are Catholics don't know this because they assume they were circumcised for religious reasons when they weren't. | /r/MensRights | 06/10/15 02:56 PM
I understand why people are against female genital mutilation, but why does no one care about male genital mutilation?I full-heartedly agree that it is a denial of human rights but that being said this isn't because of feminism solely. This is a societal way of thinking that it is acceptable; if you did a talk on this in America you wouldn't be fighting a few loud feminist, you would be fighting a majority of American males to. | /r/MensRights | 06/10/15 02:44 PM
I understand why people are against female genital mutilation, but why does no one care about male genital mutilation?I hate third wave feminism as much as the next guy on this sub, but I disagree with you, because you are just wrong. You are ignoring major history here that plays into why Cirumcisin is so prevalent in certain cultures. | /r/MensRights | 06/10/15 03:33 AM
I understand why people are against female genital mutilation, but why does no one care about male genital mutilation?A lot of reasons. On reddit specifically the majority of the audience is American, thanks to a successful campaign made by John Harvey Kellogg(yes, from the cereal) in 1878 to curb masturbation the vast majority of American males are circumcised. It is so common that most doctors will just assume that you want it and ask when you have a baby. Hard to admit that your parents mutilated your genitals for no reason.. So most men wouldn't even call it mutilation, that causes problems in its self. Few… | /r/MensRights | 06/10/15 03:26 AM
Medical school student here with some insight on what they teach future doctors about male vs. female rightsShe was doing her job teaching what she was taught to teach. Actually even though I find it incredibly wrong; under health care confidentiality I think just because it's not the fathers doesn't mean he should be told. That violates privacy and...actually changing the subject on what I was saying this is boggling my mind an ethicist told you this? Like a person who teaches ethics...Of course this is ethically wrong! I have been sitting here 20 minutes trying to think of health care privacy shit a… | /r/MensRights | 18/08/15 02:17 PM

Sweden, where 60% of university students are women, abolished their affirmative action program because it helped men over women.I agreed with your comment right until you said reverse sexism and reverse racism; those things are not real...By definition of the words when someone discriminates based on gender it is always called sexism not "reverse" because a man is being discriminated against. When A white person is being discriminated against instead of a Latino or a black it is still called racism not "reverse" racism because one seems to be more common. | /r/MensRights | 16/08/15 08:50 PM
My men's rights tee designs were labeled 'offensive' by TWO screen printing companies in less than 24 hrsWas that all of your Tshirts? You said here are some; is that all of them though? I ask because for all we know one of them really could be actually offensive. The 3 that you did show were of course not in anyway, but one of them that wasn't shown could be....if you see what I'm saying. Assuming that she was being unreasonable because she is a Feminist is the exact sort of discrimination that most people deal with when they say they are MRA. So really what I'm asking is can we see all the Ts so … | /r/MensRights | 12/08/15 08:00 PM
I was denied access to a bike shop becasue I was a male. Am I right to be offended? My favorite is the "can I send in my girlfriend in" no sorry that is sexist you shitlord, we won't let you shop here no matter what. You asking the person you are in a relationship to go shopping for you is Sexist. | /r/MensRights | 29/05/15 10:57 AM
