"It's ok to cry" as they sip from their 'Male Tears' coffee mug.

Exactly. I say all the time, I'd rather do 2 months worth of laundry than spend my weekend pressure washing the siding in 90 degree heat.

Yikes. I have my son 50/50 but I'd never do any of that for her ever again. If it's something unsafe or makes the house unlivable, I'd come pick my kid up but she can go get fucked. Would I ever expect her to cook and clean at my house for my son's sake? No. One time a few months post-divorce she asked if I could come fix her lawn mower. "Haha, no. You didn't want me to be your husband anymore, so I don't do husband shit for you anymore." Never asked again.

My ex used to complain about chores and my take was always that I had bigger, more sporadic chores. She'd do most of the cooking (which she said she enjoyed anyway), cleaning, and laundry. So hers was maybe an hour per day of chores. Then my projects were either dirty and hard, or would take an entire weekend+. Running a gas line for the stove and fireplace, fixing the water line for the fridge, unclogging pipes under the sink, building a huge deck around the pool she wanted, replacing the toile…

Don't ever let women shame you, especially over something you enjoy doing. 99% of the time it's just to stir up drama or test you. The best way to extinguish it is to not take it seriously. For example, if she says "When are you going to marry him?" say... "I've been saving for a ring but he's a gold digger so it's taking a while." "I asked but he sees me more as a friend." "I'm waiting until we get a king size bed so he can fit with us."

Well "incel" is a pretty juvenile insult so I don't mind sending one back.

Some observations after reading: One woman asks when men have had to worry about their reproductive rights. We don't have any. The 17 year old says she wouldn't be expected to do so much around the house if she were the oldest brother. No, because the oldest brother would be expected to go get a job to support the household rather than being at home with the family. One mentions that her husband died. That sucks, I'm sure she loved him, but the only loss mentioned was the loss of income. One men…

I was vaguely aware of some imbalances towards men before it, but her film blew the cover off for me. It was truly eye opening, and I have so much admiration for her and the courage it took to release that documentary. If I remember right, it was actually on Hulu when it first came out, before mobs of the recreationally offended started getting it banned and removed.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
