I'm an Air Force wife and I think this was a very well thought out and lovely article... Very good job in describing it in a way that people who have nothing to do with this type of relationship would understand! Edited to add: I had been married to my husband for a few years before he joined so it's very interesting to think about the differences.. It's funny now this seems more normal than then! Never would have thought that! Ha

I highly reccomend the Flylady system. She has a website and also a book but the book is just more in depth. Everything can be learned through the website. She has a task to do every day and each few days you are assigned a "zone" of the house such as kitchen monday through wednesday for the deeper stuff more than just the daily keep up etc. She also has very good ideas to deal with clutter. I think it would help you! You can even download an app called cozi straight to your phone and download t…

I'm 25 now. I married my high school sweetheart one month after we graduated. We were both 18. The reactions we got at that time were: A.) She MUST be pregnant...Why else would someone get married at 18??? B.) They'll be divorced in a year. They don't know what they are getting into. C.)They will get tired of each other and realize they should have "sowed their wild oats" before settling down. The thing with marriage it is independent of age. It is dependent on maturity level and commitment to t…

Honestly it depends on the product but 90% of things I have gotten have been pretty good quality.

Long time lurker here who has just started commenting recently....Her posts have been some of the most insightful that I have seen. I'm so very sorry for what you all are going through and I hope everything works out for the best. You seem very supportive and loving, I'm sure this has melted her heart. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

That video is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Because saying "You're pretty!" would make me feel so incredibly unsafe. rolls eyes Take a compliment, say thank you and roll on. It's very rare to receive one in this day and age...

Yes! My best friend does as well! Just keep in mind the asian one size fits all ones are going to be like a size small so I usually get a large (5 foot 3 150 pounds). Some of them don't offer more than the one size so you have to keep that in mind if you are looking. Also keep in mind shipping can take up to a month because it is from China but mine usually come withing 3 weeks. No too bad for good prices.

If it genuinely upsets you than I think there is no harm in talking to him about it. My husband is very respectful and has never openly oogled anyone around me or online. I think that is just common courtesy in a committed relationship.

I HATE those things...they look terrible and lazy/grungy. Yuck! I suggest looking through Sammy Dress Some things are more trendy, but there are a lot of nice feminine clothes for cheap, they may not last forever but I know how it is to be short on funds. Also, I agree with thrift stores I can find some beautiful outfits... look through instagram and search modestclothing as a tag. You can find some beautiful feminine examples.

It's truly upsetting the amount of women who say they "don't understand their husbands" and "can't stand them", they resent their own marriages and therefore project those feelings onto others. I have not met a single married woman in 7 years who has not gone off on a tangent about their relationship and then turned to me and said, "Yours is the exact same, huh?" Because of their own interpretations of what they see. They become very uncomfortable when I tell them otherwise and feel as if I have…
