None, it should have no effect. But in reality the reason its brought up is to attempt to use that as a means to dismiss the content of the documentary off hand without having to argue the facts. He brought it up purely for the effect of "its funded by the MRA's so of course it will be portraying them favorably". Its just a straw man.

This is true. Silly law to protect against online "harassment" but such vague wording its primed to be abused. Only a matter of time before someone tries it i'm sure. But what I was referring to was the level of visibility given to these people in the media in aus seems much higher that that of nz. Just makes it seem like that its more prevalent.

Is it really as bad as what is visible in your media?

You know i'm living in NZ and currently considering a move to aussie, but seeing all this sjw/feminist activity in aus is really putting me off of considering the move.

Wow, just looking at his twitter description, "Criminologist researching violence, abuse and other stupid things men do to women/children/ourselves." Yeah somehow, I don't think he'd be one for open honest discussion.

Wow the dishonesty and misinformation coming from a uni professor at the end was just astonishing. Claiming that the movie was funded by MRA's and apparently by the most violent and misogynistic of the MRA's *citation needed. If he'd actually had the intellectual honestly to do real research he'd find that MRA's were very apprehensive to support a possible hit film on them, and that most of the funding was brought in by 3 feminist women, as told by Cassie J herself.

He was just being facetious for the sake of argument. Calm your tits.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
