so ultimately this person you knew was a fool as he got caught. not so smart there, was he. as for the rest of em, did they get away with it? you didn't mention. still, i'm afraid we're getting off topic with the bank robberies. indeed i would rob a bank if i could get away with it tho if that's the question.

i have travelled kinda somewhere. Very Hard : Miami, LA Hard: Zurich, Stockholm, New york Normal : Warsaw, Prag, Minnesota Easy : Medelin Very easy : Phillipines/Thailand sorry, confused here. you have travelled to these place or you just guessing? did you shag in all of these places? i have done my fair share of travelling; on that list only NYC. didn't shag a local, but i know i could've. it's a sociable city. everybody fucks and the transport ain't bad.

emotionally I can't really justify being with anyone who isn't intelligent, funny, compassionate, ambitious (not necessarily in career but in self-improvement) and curious about the world. that's just a list of adjectives and could mean anything tho depending on your standard; i mean my cousin who's married to the woman working the till at Walmart who practices yoga and laughs at Bill Murray thinks she's a proper genius. you'll only know you're too picky if you reject women who reasonably fall i…

A women’s dating sexual past collided with her married-with-kids present when the Bad Boy ex she can’t stop fantasizing about crashes back into her life” so did she end up with that bad boy or did she stay with her husband and kids? i would shit my pants if it was the former. fantasising means nothing. lots of people fantasise over things they don't really want, ffs how much porn is dedicated to fucking step moms?

you'd have to be a fool to turn down a beautiful woman just because she has a higher body count than your ideal, are you kidding me?? i fail to believe any man would do this in practice unless he's super religious and/or misogynist. anyway, personally i've never asked a woman her body count; i don't even know my own.

Male beauty standards are much harder to meet than women's it's easier for women to be good looking, that's for sure. they have all kinds of tricks they can use, makeup including foundation to cover up their zits, hair weaves, push up bras, high heels. men can't use any of that shit without being called gay. good news for men is that there's not as much pressure to look a certain way. most of the lads i go to uni with just roll out of bed and go to class and they don't give a shit.

My friends and I have our own GroupChats where we collect especially heinous things men have said online about women or girls. We also share those with other women and girls we know. y'all have toxic behaviour, i'll tell you that for free. thing is you're actively looking for this stuff. if you seek, you will find - Jesus said thousands of years ago. it's confirmation bias/hate watching. Idealy I would be looking for a FWB. you mean a fuckbuddy, right? cuz fwb means you're friends first with the added luxury of sex, like you're actually friends in this situation. How feasible is it for an average guy? How do you look for it? it's very feasible if you have female friends. but you don't want that, right? it's primarily just a shag? well i used to fuck a lot of women i worked with in the restaurant/bar industry. great place to meet young and single women. easier than a dating app i…

For example he first sees a woman and says she has a butt, boobs, etc. He doesnt make assumptions on her personality. on what planet? as a man i definitely judge a woman's personality and more just by looking at her. if she looks frumpy i assume she's shy and/or has low self-esteem. if she's got tons of bright orange tanner and ugly-ass fake nails on i assume she has no self respect. if she's got her hair tightly in a bun and wearing a brown pant suit i assume she takes herself seriously. My wife and I are on the outs, and I don't know if we will survive as a couple how long have you been thinking this won't survive and what have you done to preserve your marriage? i am not divorced but i used to advise clients on divorce proceedings and i know it can be an expensive choice in more than one way. if you think you've done everything to save your marriage then maybe consider a trial separation?
/r/Divorce_Men25/02/23 07:50 PM

which jurisdiction do you live in? divorce doesn't just happen over night. in some jurisdictions you have to remain living separate for a period of time. bear in mind there's also no law that says you must get a divorce if you live separately, so don't think you have to decide the whole world overnight. if you separate where are you going to stay? if you divorce what assets are you going to have to split?

i want to agree on this because the women i know who are into traditional gender roles do tend to be submissive and financially reliant on their male partner - they have to be because they can't take care of themselves. better yet, this man they are looking for doesn't have to be a rich lad by any stretch. all the tradwives i know hook up with very average lads. Whereas for a girl to value your money as a guy, she has to at least believe in traditional roles to an extent. i don't agree with this…

body positivity is not about promoting obesity and telling people to be fat, its about saying its okay to look how you are and not hate yourself for where you are at. the body positivity movement is only telling women that it's okay to look how they are so it can sell them stuff. lol it's allll about selling shit to consumers. if they're not ashamed to be size XL then they will buy that XL clothing. they will buy those pads marketed to bigger women. they will buy that makeup because the size 16 …

assuming this is true (because cba to fact check when reddit is fucking with me. anyone else reddit is fucking with?) you must realise that disappointment is in relation to expectation; hence, if you don't expect much, you won't be disappointed and vica versa. it's likely then that women have higher expectations with their friendships and when said friendship can't meet that expectation they feel less satisfied/more lonely. no, friendship isn't about giving compliments so reckon the op is off th…

Considering that women have more and more freedoms not only to divorce men they don't want to be with, but also not to marry them in the first place, why aren't we seeing marriages becoming more stable? because women have more options? this indeed makes sense that marriage is less stable. where it's very hard to get out of marriage because of legal and social restrictions, there will be less divorce. tl;dr more options = more marriage breakdown.

For example, when I tell married female friends about my struggles, they seem genuinely surprised. Some would say „just get on a dating app, I have friends who get all kinds of dates there, must be very easy“. this sounds like bs. did your friends find their spouses on a dating app? somewhere around 99.999% of the people i know who date or are in relationships or married did not meet their partner or whatever on an app. btw what's OLD? edit: nvm. i got the acronym

Genetically nothing explains the discrepancy. it's not genetics. there are far more better looking women because they take care of themselves more. they have all kinds of tricks they spend money on like makeup and hair. they have more options when it comes to clothing. they probably eat better on average. most lads i go to school with just roll out of bed and show up for lecture; meanwhile the girls, for the most part, actually put some effort it.

when this finally gets on the market i reckon it's going to take a long time for men to get on board, at least a decade, because few will want to be the guinea pig and little point in risking it when women can take the contraceptive pill. once it's had a few years under its belt i'd absolutely try it unless it makes you batshit crazy the way some female contraceptive pills apparently do; might be better just to get the snip.

Any way what do you guys think are women on the internet just outliers and not a good representation of women as whole not outliers, no. but not a good reputation of women as a whole because what happens is the same type of women with the same interests, same political opinions etc will flock to the same corners of the internet. so now, for instance, if you look around r/ twoxchromosones, they all have the same ideas so won't be a 'good representation of women as a whole'. this isn't limited to …

Fix the date, the location, and be persistent. i agree with fixing the date, time and location when asking someone out, but not because it seems 'masculine' or like a 'go getter'. i prefer this method even when my platonic female friends ask me out because then i can give an easy yes or no, rather than trying to negotiate something i may or may not be that interested in depending on the circumstance. These things are a huge factor in fatherlessness which most people here agree is a big issue. because that child didn't ask to be born. you want to abandon your son because 'life's not fair'? all i'm hearing from these conversations is that men don't give a fuck about men.

A survey in the UK found the second most popular reason for women not having children is that they can't find the right partner. The first reason was that they just didn't want kids. Wanting to focus on their career was way down the list. that survey is too misleading. look at r/childfree: when people say they don't want children it's for a multitude of reasons, not just one. of course the top choice in that survey is going to be 'not wanted children' cuz the answer incorporates a number of moti…

Female consumer habits, entirely dictated by themselves, consume an enormous amount of highly profitable products: fashion, accessories, shoes, makeup, cosmetics, treatments, jewelry etc cost oftentimes pennies on the dollar compared to their sales price, and are constantly in need of replacement to keep in vogue if not for functional reasons. not to mention the hair. ffs so much money spent on hair and hair removal. it's ridiculous that women buy this shit; it's not like men get anything out of…

Men should enter marriage as virgins to increase the stability of the marriage and their marital happiness So men who are still virgins have the best conditions for future marital happiness and stability if they eventually find a woman to marry right away (ideally before first intercourse). this is not accurate. this is ignoring the fact that the man is only one person in the marriage. so what happens if he marries as a virgin and his wife has had sex with other men before him? she's going to ap…

Serial monogamists who have fling after fling month after month are the worst i've never heard of that definition before; always thought serial monogamists were those who went from one long-term relationship to the next, afraid to be single. fling after fling could just be an unwillingness to settle down and not get too attached to anyone, but they only fuck one person at a time. been there done that, so wouldn't presume that person who has fling after fling is 'giving their heart away'; i surel…

Why is sex framed as something a woman “gives” and a man “takes”? i've only read the opposite, that sex is something men do to women - ie men give it to her (figuratively and literally) and she takes it as the subordinate. this is theory by feminist and law professor Catharine MacKinnon (had to read it for law school). not saying i agree with this, but that's the theory and it's well famous. who cares if women are sold these romantic fairytales; it benefits men who favour traditional gender roles and women with low body counts because it trains women to believe they are emotional and that sex for them shouldn't be casual - it should be about love. if sex for women is not casual and about love, they are less likely to sleep around. better than feminism. all that victim blaming is rather disturbing in the op tho. how about the problem isn't women but all those toxic men.

There are men who pay for it directly by visiting a prostitute, and then there are those who pay for it indirectly through paying for dates, buying women stuff and also through their time and energy. no. not every man pays for sex. personally have had plenty of one night stands and my two long-term girlfriends in the past had their own money, didn't need mine. fwb is also grand but mind you you actually have to be friends with this person and not only want to get inside their pussy.

i used to work in immigration, specifically family-class sponsorships. no one coming from a poor country is trying to sponsor someone from a rich country to come and live with them in their poor country. they're trying to move up. 1) You’re assuming that’s the only reason foreign women would have sex with PBs yes because they could just have sex with anyone outside their door. it's easy for women to get laid, it's not a challenge. don't need to sponsor someone from another country.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/23 02:23 AM

The haters like talking out both sides of their mouth. They say the foreign women are just taking advantage of passport bros but then also say that the men are taking advantage of the poor “desperate” women. So which is it? both. but does that make you feel good as a man that the only reason a woman wants to fuck you is because of your passport and she will leave you once she gets it? you're so desperate to get laid tho you'll take it. surely this cannot be good for one's self esteem.

With enough financial support (such as maternity leave, free IVF, low cost child care) where do you live that a single woman without a partner can get free IVF treatment? that's not the case in Canada, the US or the UK.

Now- social media is constantly saying “ it’s okay to not be okay” or “ Men need help too” so my questions is does that only apply to mental health? no, but it's a primary concern because mental health problems can last for years without treatment and can ruin a person's life.

My HR manager told me to keep everything "confidential" problem is how am I supposed to defend my reputation while being silenced? which jurisdiction are you in? if you think you've been treated unfairly then you should be able to raise a grievance at work; that's your first step and you don't need a lawyer for it. guessing you're not in a union?

did you read the article? it said - 'Women also felt disproportionately responsible for childcare arrangements, and more likely to leave work for their children. This is likely a symptom of a broader issue, wherein women are expected to bear the bulk of child-rearing, despite having careers. In the same ABA study mentioned above, 54% of female lawyers stated childcare was their full responsibility. The same was true for only 1% of men.' see? it's not about wanting to go see a concert.

1) Are rights "nautural", that is something inherent to each person regardless of age, race, status, etc and merely recognized by civil govenrments or are they actually privileges that are granted by the government and thereby subject to change/removal? no, rights are not natural; they are a social construct given to you by those in political office and/or the judiciary and which change from time and place. for example, a person did not have a right to abort a fetus in America 1972 but then had …

i would suggest you first google male guardianship law to start with because Qatar is indeed very much a patriarchy. in a nutshell women there are first the property of their father, then they are the property of their husband. women have to obtain a man's permission (usually their father’s or brother’s) to marry, to travel, to get educated, to get some forms of medical treatment. they have zero rights to their children, even upon divorce or the father has deceased. if another male relative is u…

If you aim to have children then you are accepting there is a 50% or so chance the child will be a boy. And that boy will be brought into a world that fucking despises him simply because of an immutable characteristic assigned while he was still a fetus. i don't plan on having children but this is exactly why i would never abandon my child if i accidentally created one, especially if it's a boy. sons need their fathers; i have a responsibility to protect my son and be a good role model for him.

well yeah, this is nothing new. notice sex between two women was never illegal; only sex between two men was ever criminalised. well the article in the op says it's due to gender norms and the ideology of traditional masculinity, right? homosexual men meanwhile are viewed as feminine, a social faux pas, cuz men are supposed to be masculine. see link below also for the relationship between homosexuality and femininity. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7432091/

i'm a law student and had to write a paper on abortion law and so i see it as a legal issue and nothing more than that. the fact is abortion has been happening since the beginning of time; it's just that when it was criminalised it was procured in dangerous ways, the most common method being drinking poison, throwing oneself down stairs, or putting dangerous objects inside one's cavity. none of which i support. hence, while i hate abortion, criminalising it does not prevent it from happening whi…

The reason, as mentioned earlier, why marital rape wasn't considered rape wasn't because women were property (they weren't) but because when a man and a woman married, they became one person, and consented to sex for their entire life if they were to spend their life together. 18th century British author Sir William Blackstone wrote in 1765 in his book on English law that by marriage, the husband and wife were legally one person yep, that's the doctrine of coverture. that's why wives were indeed…

Should I agree with her because she’s my mother and cares for me and provides for me? well no, of course not. but you can hear her out and if you want to say your opinion then do so. i mean, what's the problem here? i disagree with my parents all the time; none of us take it personally. not trying to convert anyone either tho.

The key is that whilst there is a need for men to talk, and this is increasingly the case, the responsibility should not primarily rest on their shoulders. It should primarily rest on society, employers and professionals to understand better the ways men communicate, and then to listen, ask and act. i agree, we should be looking at prevention - not reaction if we want to reduce the number of male suicides, and in order to do this blame societal attitudes and its influence along with the lack of …

Unfortunately, our efforts to fundraise have been met with a lot of abuse from lots of people. This includes family members, former friends, and of course tons of strangers, who have mocked and ridiculed us for being in this terrible situation and needing help. what do you mean, are these people blaming your spouse for being sick? you know if that's the case that's sick, right? everyone deserves treatment. what kind of healthcare system do you have access to that makes it necessary to have to fu…

“It breaks my heart that we have made men feel like they have to be so tough that they are not allowed to be vulnerable, that they can’t say that something has happened to them,” says Mangas. “We have set people up in our society, our community for failure.” indeed. my best friend was sexually assaulted on the playground by a boy in his class when he was 13 while a group of boys watched. never reported it for the reason above and it's destroyed him mentally and physically to this day. this failu…

the stereotypes of homeless people are a real shame. personally have been homeless for nine months now and no, you'd never know i am homeless just by looking at me; don't 'look' like what you assume a homeless person looks like.

whilst i appreciate the twitter user is trying to distinguish love from sex i personally wouldn't be able to be in a relationship with a sex worker as i don't support the industry.

not to mention all the women in the porn industry selling their souls for a few dollars. the industry should be abolished.

i mean in the UK at least the reason abortion was legalised is because of men. a man submitted a bill into parliament and then men voted to pass it into legislation. if men stayed out of it this would never have happened.

The only reason incels have a bad rap (1/3 of men aged 18 - 30 are incels by the way it's actually an extremely large group so you can not use one or two crazy individuals to demonize the whole) i don't know where you got this number from but surely this is an exaggeration. being an incel is more than just being involuntarily celibate; incels have a specific ideology, namely that they believe women have too much power and blame women and society for the fact that they can't get laid and hate the…

so true. the legal definition of rape needs to change in this country. the definition of rape is far too narrow which means too many rapists are getting away with it.

that is ridiculous. everyone is responsible for their own sexual pleasure. i am responsible for mine - and she is responsible for hers. no one owes anyone anything and personally always get off in bed.

They are not radical feminists however, and are open to hearing other perspectives. However, they will not change their stance. sounds good to me. i don't need to be with someone who agrees with me on everything; that would be incredibly boring. man likes a challenge and a woman with strong opinions. is she hot? does she make a decent living or have at least ambition for one? can she make me laugh? do we want the same things regarding family are all of far more importance.

don't know what it means by 'walking into' a male mental health crisis tho. this isn't brand new information? the mental health services are an absolute joke in the UK. few years ago i had two urgent referrals from professionals to get me into treatment after i was in hospital for 5 days from self harm and it still took me 7 months to get into temporary treatment. Jesus christ, you're not taken seriously here. expected to do it all on your own until you absolutely crack and are near death on the…

it's not good for a child to grow up without a father, especially for boys who need a secure and strong male role model whilst growing up. i also don't understand how anyone can live with themselves knowing they abandoned their own flesh and blood but i guess it happens all the time. don't know if there's a general consensus on this but yes, it does seem that many men's right's advocates are fighting for their right to abandon their child.

no i don't think so. it's not about your gender or what you did and not do. regardless of gender you will not be believed of what happened to you; trust me.

your story is so interesting and completely different to my upbringing. Men tend to let the kids go more on their own, keeping an eye on them but finally letting them get their own experiences on the world. That's a big contrast on mothers who will always protect them and try to put them in a bubble. no, my father was completely overprotective, not allowed to do anything and if i was a minute late past curfew i was in massive trouble. Dad's way to show love is also different, we tend to actually…

indeed. vast majority of the couples i know met in real life through work, school, mutual friends, church etc. only know two couples who met online and that was a fluke. i don't do dating apps but from general observation they are bad for one's mental health. too many fish in that pond; hard to stand out from the crowd and impress anyone.

Assuming the wife is a stay at home wife and the husband is the bread winner in the relationship, I heard that the woman can take up to 50% of his total assets. That has to be bullsh*t, right? Like, there's no way a guy who's made 10 million dollars prior to even hearing about the women, later marries her, gets divorced, and now he has to pay 5 mil? If that really were the case, how does such preposterous law continue to exist? no that's not true. generally anything owned before the marriage is …

yes they have to follow it if the facts are similar; that's why it evolves slowly over time; many decades in fact. 50 years in your example indeed. a judge cannot avoid precedent and 'ignore it altogether' as you stated.

you didn't answer my question? i was stating how the common law works. you know judges in the UK as well are bound by precedent and can't just ignore common law decisions, right? why do you think they can?

This is very useful to update outdated laws such as in the UK, where there are laws like it's illegal to walk around in public with a salmon, or to clean a dirty rug barefoot in public. Judges can interpret those laws to either amend or ignore it altogether. sorry, i'm not sure what you mean here. judges in the UK are bound by precedent; they cannot just 'ignore' case law. could you give me an example of this? asking as a UK law student. common law indeed continually builds on itself, slowly cha…

i think it's unfortunate that it is a gendered thing. have seen many men self-conscious about their skin (acne. especially my older brothers) and foundation and powder can cover it up well.

yeah i get that men are not at fault. if the majority of women decided to boycott makeup then heterosexual men would have not much choice but to put up with it(?). And PSA. We know how you look without it. only thing is men often don't know when women are indeed wearing make-up. the 'natural look' often takes a lot of make-up believe it or not. and i have seen comments online saying 'ooh she's not wearing make-up, so natural' when indeed she is.

are you a law student? have you ever studied criminology, sentencing and the justice system? the subject is women and law. the treatment of men in court is a whataboutism and you will certainly fail if you go that route
