Take her on an ice-cream date sometime in the afternoon and see if there's any spark. Is this someone who makes your day special? Are you someone who makes their day special? Sleeping together should be like a side-effect, rather than the main goal.

If you're both well-off, I'd suggest keeping it 50/50. I usually spit expenses with my friends using splitwise app and then settle them at the end of the trip

You don't really have to do anything. As long as you both had ended it on a good note last time, he's gonna come back to you when his hormones are high again. You could probably just ask him if there's a possibility that you both will ever get married (not a commitment, but a possibility of it). If he can't see a possibility, then he's probably not interested in the game you're playing. Also, I'm just an armchair expert here 🖖

Please don't stop talking to the girl to get her interested in you. Thats some level of abuse (especially, if you're one of her few friends) There'll definitely be some effect on her if you shower her with attention and then disappear. She'll start thinking about you more. But it'll only be because you tricked her into it. I'd suggest that you get to know her better as a friend and talk things out straight once you understand if she is somewhat interested in you, keeping the consequences in mind…
