When you’re trying to convert people into a beneficial ideology, you need to understand what the average person thinks about it, and play accordingly. If you’re trying to convert a BP into RP, you need to care what they think. And if caring is too extreme for you, at least be mindful of it.

Accurate. This relates very well to an article I read about why Cluster-Bs can rarely, if ever, change. In simpler terms, they have defects in memory consolidation and are unable to remember and reinforce the negative consequences of their poor life choices. I actually have an extensive list of the mistakes I have made in the past, and read it at least twice a week to remember what to never repeat. Thank you for sharing!

Can attest to this. I once dated an emotionally aloof weakling. Not exaggerating - he weighed less than me, and I work out to keep my weight in check. Thinking about being approached like you described has me turned on, TBH. If I found a man like that, the only things I’d have to do are keeping the conversation interesting and... well, bedroom stuff.

The only time I’d ever buy a man a drink is if 1) he bought me one first, so that we balance it out and I’m no longer obligated to fuck. 2) he’s a Chad. Not by looks, but by attitude. This post perfectly sums up what I’ve been looking for in a guy.

I AGREE with the fact that OP is too old to be playing games, but it’s not always easy to break off relationships and go back into market. Even if OP decides to end this for real, I think she should take time off to figure her priorities for her future relationships. Long relationships such as hers make people too comfortable to venture, so it’ll take time and patience for her to move on and figure things out. Whatever the situation may be, stay strong OP. And congratulations for stepping down. …

Toxicity is memorable to people. If you have disordered attachment styles and you pair with someone similar, you can bet there will be fireworks. Healthy love isn’t supposed to be exciting. It’s rather boring, and you’ll be at peace even when you walk away. When you changed yourself, you didn’t change your attachment style (which is why you attracted someone who would’ve loved the toxicity of the previous version of you), you only changed your reactions thereby taking out the toxicity on your en…

Nobody is addressing the elephant in the room, and that is- why don’t you “count your first time”? I’m sorry if this is a sensitive question - just assuming that it needs addressing.

Could you explain what you mean by “our muscles are put together differently”? I’m not sure I understand. Thanks.

You’re right. The discussion about marriage should occur fairly early. The intent to marry each other within a year of dating is more important than the actual proposal. You’ll know in your gut if it’s serious.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
