The single largest shareholder of Twitter stock is literally a Saudi Prince. This is why ISIS profiles stay up, and they persecute Milo for daring to be a gay conservative.

My original statement was about quantifying the number of freedoms America has vs the rest of the world (in this case, Austrailia). In that, America's list of freedoms is objectively larger. That is all I was claiming.

No compromises. The amendment reads "Shall Not Be Infringed." Every limit you speak about is infringing upon that right. Whether it's a good idea or not isn't even pertinent to this discussion. The statement "we have more freedom when it comes to gun laws than other countries" is an absolute truth.

I’m not saying all lesbians are violent – though the data suggest that committed lesbians are more likely to raise their fists than bisexual women – but if you were offered a bowl of M&Ms and told that a third of them were poisoned, would you take one? Absolutely flawless reference to this lovely piece of radical feminism.

Shit-tests know no bounds, male friends included. If you are not gaining anything from the relationship (friendship), then there is no reason to continue it.

This is why the founding fathers wanted to create a secular society. I don't want to have to throw in with either religious group. They're both crazy.

The common phrase over at SRS is "don't touch the poop", which basically means "no brigading/interacting with the rest of reddit". We all know how much of a joke this is, and /u/poop_zamboni is just an SJW lurker who had a thought but couldn't contribute on her/its main account. Honestly that's fine. Engaging in debate is a good thing, and they were at least polite about it. But make no mistake on where this comment comes from.

I was with you until this part: Hoard cash until recession hits You cannot time the market. No one can. Over on personalfinance and financialindependence (subreddits), the mantra is "Time in market > timing the market" and it's true. The time waiting for a downturn is time wasted that could've been used for gains. If you see your investment go up and down over a small 5 year period, you aren't ready for long term investing. Period. If this is still not to your taste, you could at least do someth…

Yes, but my point about precious metals and other speculative investments is that they are an almost mathematical certainty to either be a massive loss, under perform the market, or barely keep up at best. I'd rather take the almost guaranteed 7% growth adjusted for inflation every year over that. You're also neglecting what I pointed out with the Trinity study in regards to banking collapses: Even in the Great Depression, a banking crisis that far outshines current world events in terms of mark…

I appreciate the response, but it seems we disagree on a fundamental level: If there is ever an actual collapse of the U S of A, we'd have a lot more to worry about than the solvency of our savings accounts. So your argument for having thousands in cash as well as precious metals holdings for security reasons fall flat here, and this is just a legitimate difference of opinion. I believe in the US markets, and I always will. The Trinity study has shown that even over periods like the Great Depres…

Financially, this is awful advice. Please no one here take it. Cash, precious metals, bitcoin, and foreign accounts are literally the last places you want to keep your assets if you want them to keep appreciating and/or hold value. And for the loverly of pussy, do not tell her about your assets. The only good advice in this post

Shadowbanning was originally a tool made for combating spam bots. This is no longer needed as there are now more, better tools for this purpose. Shadowbanning is now used to control dissent across reddit. Normally, mods are able to just ban an account from posting in a subreddit. With shadowbanning, the admins can make anybody's opinions disappear into thin air, and they are not even notified of it occurring or why. It's completely subjective.

From chapter 1 of her book: My therapist reminded me that when I first started coming to see her, I was the same way. I often felt I would be better off divorced or with another man who was more fastidious or considerate. With the husband of my imagination, I wouldn't have to clean up after him, plan, arrange, organize and check up on everything. My rotten attitude cast gloom over the relationship. I was always on edge, so that the slightest problem seemed like reason enough to end this marriage…

I think what we have here is a failure to communicate. I'm saying the exact same thing you are. I know she's like all the other ones, yet I have no harshness in my tone when I say "sloots". It's playful. I don't care either.

I haven't had to put actual effort into getting laid in a loooong time my friend. It's simply getting too boring for me at this point, hence looking for an LTR. My girl has a low partner count, but saying virgins and girls with low partner counts are always going to be better is ignoring AWALT. And yeah, I'll call a series of girls who I have one night stands with sluts. I just don't want to bang them anymore, not that I lack the skills to do so.

I suppose you are right. My point still stands on how this garbage was written. Seems like some sort of feminist fanfic on how not to talk to/about women.

I can see what you're saying, but FR are typically for romantic engagements showcasing TRP principles in real life. Not to mention that this entire "report" is very poorly written, and seems to read like some sort of parody/troll post made by someone looking for TRP to vindicate this "misogyny". In either case I don't think it's worth disseminating to the wider TRP audience.

All of your points are sound except for number 5. It's been proven that you can't ever really "beat the market", and those who do are extremely rare. Best to stick with low-fee index funds for the same (or better!) return on your investments.

I would enjoy this very much. Call it a series of getting ahead career wise, but focus on a different field every week or something. I'd love to see the other software developers in this subreddit. There aren't nearly enough of you guys at work in real life.

THEY FUCKING DELETED HIS COMMENT! I'm not even remotely surprised. It was the highest upvoted comment in that thread, and yet the masses cannot be exposed to such a story. My blood is fucking boiling right now. If you go to his username and sort by "top", the story is still there. Go to the permalink? It's gone. This is unbelievable. Fuck reddit.

I know we have a whole slew of new members. 117,000 subs, compared to the 8,000 when I first came around. Kinda off topic, but we're getting close to the size fatpeoplehate was before it was banned. I'm coming from a philosophy of reducing spending to increase savings. I suppose I should've said "savings" instead of "income". Read from the bottom here for more: http://www.mrmoneymustache.com/all-the-posts-since-the-beginning-of-time/ (btw this is the advice that is regularly given in TRP IRC)
/r/TheRedPill12/06/15 12:42 PM

Saving is pennies. Earning is dollars. Uh no. The greatest increases of income that most Americans can get are from slashing spending. Living within your means is the greatest indicator for financial success.

OP's like you make reddit a more difficult place. Most users like to have a quick discussion with minimal googling, especially for something as simple as the premise of your fucking post. Nobody gives a shit. This is why you're getting downvoted.

Some of us have gotten rid of cable for the waste of time and money that it is. If you're going to make a thread about a subject and then not communicate exactly what it is, how are we supposed to discuss it?

No class hierarchy or other stigmata of OOP (objectification-oriented programming). In fact, as an intersectional acknowledgement of Class Struggle our language will have no classes at all. Except you can still create classes and object in a functional language. It's not exactly pretty, but you still can. This is a gigantic troll for sure.

I replied with I'm both, depending on the girl. I think this was a great response. Don't commit to either side. At the same time though, she might not be completely satisfied with it. An idea for another response would be something like A&A: "yeah I only do hookups. You've done great in that regard so far" or some shit like that.

I actually like these field reports that don't end in "and then I fucked her no less than five times that night!". But I am however curious; did you get any farther than flirting? I'm assuming yes

I agree. This is one of the better, more insightful field reports I've seen in a while. Definitely sheds light into an experience I'm not used to.

Honestly, I don't think you're ever going to get her into your frame. Like a lot of other guys have observed here, successful women need to be with someone who earns more than they do. Doesn't matter how successful she is or how small of a dating pool that creates; to have a proper relationship it needs to be that way. Not to mention all the damage she has incurred from this kind of high-level party life. You will never LTR this girl, even if you wanted to. And tbh that's a good thing. Have your…

The only thing that will bring this onto your path is if you could somehow become as rich as this girl through nothing but effort and pure luck. And that's the thing; exploring just WHY this girl is so fucking wealthy leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.

Maybe Delilah’s a Machiavellian too. There is no "maybe". Idk man, I'd love to say get the fuck out of there, but the money is so good. I think I'd just extract as many resources from her as I could, and bail if my dignity got to a certain threshold. The challenge is finding what that is though. I really want to see this subject explored more here; I've been around for over a year at this point and I have no idea what RP advice to give in this instance.

It's not the third world that is fucked up. It is YOUR world view that is fucked up. Yeah I'm sorry, I'm going to stay in my nice 1st world country. At least when I apply myself here I can actually get rich and network with powerful people.

There are so many red flags with this girl I don't even want to get started. I had to go as far as to call the cops because she yanked the keys away from me and took my car for a joy ride to keep me from leaving.
