Sure he understands what sex is, but you're still basing your logic on his age. Level of development in any given 15 year old varies tremendously depending on the individual. A big part of this problem (imo) is that even most men don't give a fuck about other men. Very true. Most of the world still holds a convoluted view toward masculinity and how to feel about their fellow man. Forced no, manipulated yes. We don't have all the information but the bottom line is that both genders deserve equal protection to not be manipulated into doing something they're uncomfortable with or could potentially sexually confuse them as adults. Yes each case should be looked at individually, but the law sees it as someone with more information and experience exploiting a younger person's lack of experience. The principal we're trying to emphasize is equality for both genders.

As some one else posted. The same judge sentenced a man to 20 years mandatory must serve the 20. Ouch. That's just what gives it the double standard that characterizes every pussy pass granted. If she even got half that I'd say that would at least be remotely just.

Very reasonable question. A female perpetrator would stimulate a male victim however possible and immediately convenient. Don't forget how easily stimulated a 15 year old boy is. I'm not sure we all punish ourselves so much as our legal system punishes it's fellow man that much more harshly than it does it's women. A little known statistic is that white men are not the true winners in court (winners being the defendants sentenced to the least severe sentences), but women of almost every race. Sex offenses like this are the examples that show us just how large of a disparity there is.
