Rape is notoriously hard to prove and often ends up in he said/she said cases even when there is immediate physical evidence. In your opinion, would a not guilty verdict in a rape trial be proof of a false accusation? Would that be enough to send the original person to jail for life?

The guards should held accountable for those crimes, not the original accuser. Abuse inside of prisons is a horrible issue and should be addressed but that is a wildly different scenario than someone being kidnapped and tortured for a year by the same individual.
