"Stand your ground" means you aren't required to attempt retreat, (duty to retreat), in a threatening situation, or when you believe you are in a threatening situation, (possible death or great bodily harm). I think you're thinking of castle doctrine, which allows for deadly force in the protection of your home/land, and also removes the "duty to retreat". Burglary also includes temporarily or permanently removing the owner's ability to make use of their property. So it works here, but most people associate it with simply stealing :)
