| 1 | How much time would a man get for doing this?Just because we can’t quantify it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t still strive for the best equality of outcome possible no? We SHOULD address that African Americans are still recovering from the effects of slavery (which was only 4 generations ago. We SHOULDNT try to accelerate this process with (inherently racist) legislation. And this is because oppression is non-quantifiable. Simply because Lebron James and George Floyd were both black does not mean they have the same amount of privilege or power in society. The issues on inequality are real and definitely should be addressed, but a single-variable analysis doesn’t do the concept justice.
