I would disagree, that there is no defined treatment for borderline. I think the treatment may vary from person to person, but it doesn't necessarily mean that there is none. Different medications affect people differently, different therapies may work differently for separate cases of borderline personality disorder. However, some people who have borderline may not be treatable, but some are. I was one. The patient has to be the most active part of recovery though, and in most cases, I don't be…

Wait, am I not supposed to do that? I use cunt regularly in my repertoire of epithets, I generally use it if I want something more offensive on the spectrum rather than less offensive, like I dunno, asshat. But if someone, guy or girl is acting well- cunty, then I will probably call them a cunt. If somebody is dickriding and acting like a cock jockey, then I'll probably call them on that too. I think if you want 'offensive' language to be "fair" it should be used across the board, or totally pro…

Adds to personal list of reasons why polyamory works for me 238762: Everyone has equal opportunity to pursue fucking (or dating, or whatever) someone else if they choose to. And if somebody gets insecure about it, they are reassured that they are loved, but reminded that they're responsible for their own feelings. You know, like a grown up.

This is my biggest fucking issue with how gay people end up represented in media. That gay men are "ok" so long as they're feminized, but butch gay guys, fuck that, probably a pervert. Harrumph.

The grass is always greener on the other side of sexuality?

I'm also gay-ish. I'm sort of fluid in that way, I suppose. I think that there are some really excellent points made about the fact that gay men are sort of generally seen as less trustworthy than gay women (what the fuck?!) and especially less trustworthy than straight women (again, what the fuck?!) Last I checked, gay guys' junk still works, and I've known more than one guy who ended up with a surprise kid and had to deal with a crapload of custody difficulty, and who didn't end up with custod…

Favorite quote: You shouldn't expect to get a free ride for life because you have a pair of tits and a vagina, unless you want to be treated like a pair of tits and a vagina.

Haha, okay. Thoughts appreciated, but probably not gonna go that way. Thanks though.

Yeah, in my case I know I'm not the father, I'd be filing paperwork to- clarify my position with the kids in terms of our family. Part of that is knowing that kids need support whether their mom and I are together or not. At the moment, if she and I split up, I'd have zero rights with the kids.

It should be the right of the child... It's also not something I object to. Adopting/having kids means taking responsibility for them for the rest of their lives. In the event of a break-up, yeah, that includes child-support. It's not that thorny of an issue for me I guess.

The way we've dealt with other "complicatish" issues as a family is to go through legal business first, drafting agreements for our mortgage, for example, who pays what, what happens if someone loses a job, what happens in the event someone wants to move out or in the event of a break up. For this, I would like to write into our agreement, what happens with child support in the event of a breakup, who the kids will primarily reside with etc. I figure- lawyering up first, is much better than lawy…

I happen to love my life, and the people I share it with.

I'm also curious about ethical/social/familial aspects you guys might have suggestions about, not just the legal aspect. Obviously we'd be talking with a lawyer, but there are things we might not think of that more brains than our three would come up with.

The parental rights end of thing has been resolved, J, L, and a lawyer did work that out (to their own satisfaction) about two years ago. It was done in the state we used to live in, according to whatever needed to happen for her to be able to move and make decisions for the kids. So, I guess she has sole custody/parental rights. I'd need to ask what the laws are in our new state. Good call. The three of us are definitely going to end up talking things over with a lawyer before going further, in…

Dominance is not necessarily about making the first approach, high energy, or anything else. Dominance is about control, really. And the best way to control someone, is to make them want what you want, and offer it freely to you. I would never classify my game as high energy, like you OP, my game is pretty laid back. Being laid back doesn't mean I'm not in control, it just means I don't have to always be flexing to prove it. ;)
