This type of fake feminism refuses to hold abusive and neglectful moms accountable. It's the "I'm a strong single mother, you need to show me respect" trope. My mom did it but she was abusing me behind closed doors while pretending to the world she was a saint. She was a woke feminist type who believes she cannot be responsible for anything

I figured it out by 24 thank God Then the pandemic hit and I had a lot of time alone to really think about things, did a lot of spiritual growth and reflection and cemented "the rules" in my head. Before 26 yo I broke some rules (not your mother's rules book, fds in a book basically) and had bad results every time. So from when I discovered those books/this subreddit it took about a year and a half to fully cement my new habits

I have dated 4 different "IT" guys, all for at least 6 months. They tend to have low empathy, and I avoid them. I'm sure I'll get down voted by lurker lvm, but seriously why should I be obligated to date these guys? Men will not date women if our boobs are too small, if our butts are too big/small, if we don't have blonde hair, if we don't wear makeup (besides a little concealer and lip color).
