That’s weird. When I was a teen babysitter I knew other boys who were hired to watch mostly other boys quite often.

I do agree with everything you said. I’ve personally lost out to the boys club on a job promotion when I was the more senior and more qualified candidate. I just want to be treated as an equal, not better than, and judged on my performance. And to be fair, I’ve mowed my share of grass and trimmed the hedges. YouTubed videos on changing my car battery, headlights, and even replaced a bad sensor. Changed plenty of tires along the side of the road.

I’ll start with JD Vance saying that we need women back in the home. Scott Yenor, nominated by the Florida governor to the board of West Florida university openly calling for not allowing women into STEM education and jobs as well as government (repealed after this discovery hit the news). Hegseth and others calling for the 19th amendment to be revoked as if we are not deserving of being treated like equal citizens. DT rolling back anti-discrimination protections in the workplace. Men can’t stan…

Female here. I love men, love my husband very much and don’t foresee that changing this lifetime. For some reason my reels keep filling up with red-pill podcast bros telling women how we should be living our lives while they advocate for taking away our rights in order to force that on us. It’s hard to not have a vague hatred at least for the little boys in these reels, like it’s 2025, we should all have the right to make our own choices. Why is it even acceptable for anyone to be telling anyone…

Just for comparison sake, I attempted to find stats on female deaths from fgm in South Africa. All I could find was 44,320 deaths annually across 15 African nations including South Africa, however the number is growing in South Africa as more tribes are adopting this. I’m also wondering where the outrage is for the women? Or perhaps it should be across-the-board outrage against all genital mutilation?

I disagree that female desire is treated as ok. Go look at the FB reels where men demonize women for having any body count higher than one while screaming about how the same standards don’t apply to men.

Red Pill is the red flag to avoid. It means they will never treat them as an equal. As a female, if I ever hear the words “high value man” come out of their mouth I immediately lose all respect and he immediately becomes a low-value man to me.

Powerful men would rather pretend to stand on the mountain peak and beat their own chest while yelling Look at Me! Look how much better I am than You!” I actually think women are better at lifting each other up.

Plenty of men can be married to a woman or have daughters and still be a misogynist. It’s all about your opinion of women and what their place in the world should be. Do you 100% believe your wife and daughters have the same rights, freedoms, career opportunities, equal pay, and equal partnership in their marriage or relationships? Or do you believe, like JD, that “women belong in the home?” Like Scott Yenor that believes women have no place in politics and stem careers and stem education (those…

Going back to the days of women being shut out of jobs, not being able to obtain banking and financial services, and a lot of other things, is also laughable.

It’s not a hate movement at all, nor is it being eroded, and it will be a cold day before we give up our freedom just to be treated like second class citizens. It’s sad that anyone endorses a system that would even allow that, rather than treat everyone as equal citizens regardless of what’s in our pants. The only bullshit in my earlier post is that men routinely get away with their behavior without being corrected, and sad that they were never taught how to properly treat people.

Unfortunately some have taken feminism to this level but it’s not representative of all of feminism. Most are still fighting to be seen as equals looking to exercise their right to live their life as they want, have control over their own life, and be seen as equals in the workplace and society as a whole. I read all the comments about men thinking they’re losing out, particularly in the workplace. Ask any female, particularly GenX or older, we all have stories and examples of jobs we lost out o…

Exactly the kind of nonsense that needs to stop. And my experience has been that women will put up with ailments longer before seeking help.

I have seen many examples of couples with the same ailments or illnesses go to the dr separately, men are actually treated, offered tests, and prescribed real meds while women are blown off and told to take an aspirin for their pain or to take a nap.

I’m curious what exactly your beliefs are that CPS has problems with? Can you elaborate?

How do you know she was lying? Perhaps he did force himself on her? Or did something she wasn’t comfortable or into? Or maybe he coerced her into it somehow? I’m not saying he did but a lot of assumptions are being made here.

Some of this depends on what generation/age group we’re talking about. I’m GenX female who believes in equality but afraid now to call myself feminist because people interpret that as man-hating. My gay male friends are old-school gay and don’t understand at all the new alphabet crew. Their interpretation of my body-my rules means eliminating laws designed to punish gay sex. Females found safety in friendships with men who have no interest in sleeping with us and we both found common ground in f…

Female here. I think some of your argument is a little off. Women married not because they were literally forced to, but society put that pressure on them. It’s what was expected, whether they wanted to or not. And forget being a female staying single- you were the outcast if you weren’t married by your early 20’s, the good jobs went to men, you couldn’t buy a house or vehicle because banks wouldn’t lend to you. Marriage was how we lived because there were no other options. And your r@pe comment…

Wow your response is the most disrespectful and disgusting thing I think I’ve ever read. The only thing I blame men for are all the reasons feminism and a push for equality exist (once barred women from voting, having their own money, sexist banking and loan rules, unequal employment opportunity and pay, sexual revolution, etc - all very real reasons feminism exist.). I’m not sure what masculine rules you’re referring to but women are doing just fine without a man to guide them or keep them in c…

Agree, female, I filed against my cheating alcoholic sometimes abusive husband only because he stalled around and didn’t file first so I did.

There are low divorce rates because they are brainwashed since birth to believe divorce for any reason whatsoever is wrong, women are taught and believe they have no rights, and those who separate live separately until death, they just don’t do the legal divorce. I mean, sure we could mimic the Amish and outlaw divorce, no one will be happy then.

It is definitely hypocritical. I think you’re buying into the myth of slutshaming while believing it is acceptable for men to have a higher count. Is it because you can’t deal with your female partner having an equal number of sexual experiences and partners? Do you really believe women want men with higher numbers? They don’t. It is a predictor of future infidelity because they think it’s more acceptable and they can get away with it. Women I know want an equal in terms of numbers, if it’s too …

It is hypocritical, but my question is why? Are you buying into the myth of slutshaming? Do you really think it’s fair to say that you can’t deal with a female having an equal number of sexual experiences than yourself? Or do you keep telling yourself that women don’t mind or care that you have a higher number (most care and would rather be paired with their equal). The male having a higher number gets so ingrained as acceptable that it’s a predictor of infidelity or an excuse for cheating, no w…

Not any different than when someone says beautiful women reap more privilege. It’s a beauty or hotness thing, not necessarily sexist thing since both sexes benefit.

Most females want this, just need to get legislators to make it happen.

Not the same as being an authoritative leader who won’t take shit from employees, male or female. She doesn’t need to do it loudly to be effective. I think the real problem in this thread is that all I see are men who can’t handle working for or taking orders from a woman.

But isn’t that basically what men in leadership have always done? Neither are there to be your friend, they have a job to do. You’re only repeating the same old sexist tropes by calling her a cunt - if a man successfully leads he is assertive and praised, if a woman successfully leads she is regarded as bitchy.

I know a lot of women that would agree with this. Has anyone (meaning our elected representatives) ever pitched this as law?

Women don’t want a guy with a high body count either. And a lot of guys want a shorty gf. Compare apples to apples.

They shouldn’t be cheaper, but apparently laws are needed to ensure equal pay.

Can you say what the allegation was? Just a thought, but apparently they felt termination was justified, and perhaps the attorneys agree. Do you have any proof it was a false allegation? Or did you actually do something bone-headed that could be perceived as harassment? I’m not leaning the other way here, just looking for more info.

Feminism began and grew out of woman’s desire to be treated as an equal, from everything from voting, ability to have her own bank accounts and money (there was a time banks would not open accounts for women without a husband’s approval), to fighting for the right to be treated as an equal by employers. Corporations still discriminate against women. How then can you say feminism was created by corporations?
