Bystander effect, the more people watching, the less likely anyone is individually to step in due to thinking someone else will step in first.

That was a massive leap. Nonconscription=child soldiers? Wow, I haven't seen that big of a leap outside of Tumblr.

Quite possible, however the issue is that this could be nothing but a waste of resources and time. It has zero chance of actually going through and would be DOA without some sort of lawsuit forcing it. Women as a group aren't going to vote against their own self interests and men most likely wouldn't do that to women.

Someone needs to chill out. The reality is this will never fly. Feminist groups would tear this to shreds before it could pass. This wastes time and effort that can be made for real change.

No idea, obviously not as good as the benefits for actually being in the military currently, but something to encourage it. I'm definitely for the removal of the current penalties for not signing up such as no college financial aid, or jail for not signing up.

Do we really want to do this? Even if it goes through, even if men get to say "Yeah, we are fair now" there's no way we can't look like a massive group of ass holes. It's not healthy to pull everyone down to the lowest common denominator. In my opinion we'd be better served removing the selective service for men, or changing how it's handled currently. Instead of being mandatory, make it optional with a few benefits and either gender can sign up. You'll attract more support if you're doing somet…

Some of my nastiest responses have come from angry women when I point out slut shaming and many of the issues women face nowadays are female on female and not male on female.

The author is missing the issue the boy friends/husbands are having. They don't feel entitled to sex, they feel unwanted, u desired and unloved by their partners. 2 very, very different things. If I had a 90% rejection rate due to lazy excuses, I'd definitely question my partners reasoning for being with me. Men and women express feelings differently and it's important they communicate and try to meet in the middle for a healthy relationship.

No, it's not. Animal behavior and how we treat it their actions don't parallel human behavior. Only Chihuahuas get away with bites and even then many can be put down if the victim of the bite pushes for it. It's still an incredibly stupid argument to make. Many of the current MR posters seem to lack any real world experience and are more engaged in trying to win the oppression Olympics. It's pathetic and annoying. Instead of trying to do anything to make a positive impact for men they rather rag…

Big words hurt are confusing? I said what a stupid argument, trying to make similarities that are just as stupid and not related/comparable. This subreddit is seriously taking a nose dive lately with the rampant stupidity it's being infested with. While the vitriol aimed at her is despicable, using idiots on the Internet to judge an entire gender in such a discriminating manner is beyond asinine. I had to agree with one tweet though. Somehow she got groped on live TV and not one person saw it? Smells like bull shit.

The problem with yesallwomen is that it started out with good intentions to show the struggles faced by women, but as time has progressed it got hi jacked by some and turned to vitriol and hatred based purely on gender. You do seem perfectly reasonable which is a nice breath of fresh air from across the aisle. Too many times have radical feminists tried to shut down and shut out men when offering a different opinion. Reasonable discourse requires both sides try to listen instead of playing the O…

Once again you're twisting words. I never said they pay for everything for me. I said they didn't expect me to pay for everything. Mature and grown up people do things like that. One day maybe you'll understand. As I said before I pity you for how angry and misogynistic you are. One day maybe you'll understand painting things with a broad stroke is almost never true as you're trying to make it seem. Willfully blind, ha. At one time I was in the same mentality as you thinking women just wanted to be princesses and having everything handed to them on a silver platter, but then I grew up, went into the real world and experienced different social settings. I recognized how my own choices and actions to that point lead to me only seeing women who were like that. I changed my approach and guess what, the women who I came into contact with also changed. You're opinion on this is so inane, and myop…

Keep repeating the same lines a billion times and it totally makes you sound like you're sane. /s Fact is that you're trying to play an oppressed victim in the dating world. Victim complexes never get positive results. As I said earlier, maybe one day you'll grow up out of your disillusioned mind state and see that your experiences are direct consequences of your choices, but with how adamant you are about being a victim, it's not likely.
/r/MensRights04/06/14 05:22 PM

Your points should be covered under egalitarianism. And you're definitely right about each group trying to win the Oppression Olympics. I've argued time and time again with people are just so convinced they have the absolute worst short end of the stick anyone's ever dealt with, but don't dare try pointing out that many times if you keep getting the short end of the stick then you must be doing something wrong. Then they'll fly into a hissy fit of rage.
/r/MensRights04/06/14 05:19 PM

Still running high on fail, you've done nothing to back up your claim except keep repeating the same bull shit. It's nice to see how much delusion and refusal to change has kept you back. Like I pointed out earlier, the world needs more people with your mentality since it makes it easier for the rest of us to get ahead. Keep crying and bitching about how dating isn't fair. It will just make you less likely to try to find the decent women.

You haven't proved jack shit, do you understand how proof even works? This is seriously like having a debate with a toddler who just sticks their fingers in there ears and bubbles like an idiot until adults get annoyed and leave. I'm far from bitter and angry since I've found women who aren't gold diggers unlike you as by your first post. Once again trying to twist words to fit your pathetic little agenda and world view.

Lullz, no anger, just pity that you have such animosity towards half the population because you feel so wronged by one subset of them. As I said earlier you're the reason there's such a negative image of the MRM. You've done nothing to hack up your claim but if you only believe the bull shit you pour out then there's no point trying to convince you otherwise. Are you fucking retarded? You've done nothing but try to twist what I've said time and time again. You've still brought nothing to this to back up your claims. You're just a whiny bitch, through and through. Now you're mad at the world for your crappy ability at handling what your decisions have lead you to. Keep on keeping on, dude. People like you who play victim make it easier for others to rise.
/r/MensRights02/06/14 12:53 AM

Prove it then that it's the exception instead of just being a whiny bitch, which is all you've shown the capacity for. Reality is a result of consequences from our actions. Obviously you make piss poor decisions and are angry at the result.

Right, I threw examples in your face but instead of trying to use facts you resorted to bull shit and staying angry. You're either a troll or a fucking idiot. Choice is yours. /r/MensRights01/06/14 09:32 AM

Still obvious you're nothing but a troll. Jackasses like you give actually guys who care about men's rights issues a bad name. Still so out of touch and angry with the world, but keep on keeping on dude. Those evil women out there are just trying to destroy you. You're a fucking joke and the a major part of the reason the MRM isn't taken seriously.

Still on that angry rant eh? And what have you done to prove you're not a "feminist slave"? Be angry on a small subreddit? Oh man, such a great step you've taken. Once again can't back up your grandiose claim that all women demand to be treated like a princess without any hard proof to back it up. As for a video, look up Jenna Marbles, she has one and I don't feel like finding it for some angry moron on the Internet.
/r/MensRights31/05/14 01:47 PM

So my anecdotal evidence carries none, but somehow yours does? Fucking logic, how does that work? No wonder most people see the MRM as nothing but bitter angry guys. Sounds like you've been looking in all the wrong places bud. I haven't had to deal with that level of immaturity and bs for a long time over the span of several relationships. Current girlfriend actually gets annoyed if she thinks I'm spending too much on her and she'll regularly swap my credit card for hers if we're out somewhere. I feel like many cases of this are men putting too much value on the opinions of others who after rejection, will probably not speak to them again. Obviously that doesn't apply to every situation, but in my experiences it seems that's happened. If I'm out at a random social event meeting a lot of new women and I'm interested in one I'll ask her out. If it doesn't work, then so be it, I'll probably never see her again and I'm off meeting a new one. Now that approach is from a large city guy, I co…

It's hard to generalize all men based off of one individuals personality and experiences. That being said I've noticed I've gone through phases in my life where I go back and forth on my usual intentions when meeting new people. This also tends to coincide heavily with where I am relationship wise. As I start dating before the point of exclusivity when meeting new women I tend to be hitting on them but in a much more subtle way. I don't just pop right out and ask if they want to date me now. It's actually pretty difficult to get in to a Panhellinic Sorority house in Isla Vista. My girlfriend at the time was in ADPi and without her letting me in directly I had zero access to the house and even when she let me in I was under close scrutiny the entire time. The cultural sororities that don't have the big bucks backing them having tight security measures are simple knock and answer. Very fortunate he didn't try to enter one of those houses.

Created a female account quite awhile ago and have slowly aggregated posts, and photos and fake information. Then adding random people. It's surprising the number of people who will accept a random girls friend request.

I've been playing the slow con and getting onto Lulu. The reason is that if a female friend checks, you're likely friends on Facebook and Lulu will load you onto their site without your permission. Creating a fake account and just adding random unknown people prevents you from ending up on there if you're not already on there.

Just pointing out some industries(I'm in the oil industry) have way crazier work schedules. The other issue in the oil industry as a maintenance contractor or operations personnel is none of this can be done from home. But, as for why I do it, it's as I said in my OP, I'm cranking out the hours while I'm young and able to adapt to the changes. You should tell him, another thing to remember is just because some one is family, that doesn't mean you have to be associated with them. Some people do appalling things, and it's best to cut them out before they turn on you. This person is supposed be in trusting relationship with a person she loves and respects and this decision is everything but that. I've seen this defense in person and generally it is because someone made a massively stupid generalization about men. The reality is, it's a perfectly good defense and so is NAFALT. Sweeping generalizations without attempting to look at underlying causes is as pointless as it gets.

It's probably because I'm still young with no kids or family and do work a rapid rotating shift schedule, but I don't think flexibility is that high on the list of demands for me. I've been working on picking up more shifts so I can get a house, the truck I want, and whatnot so that as I age and my body has a harder time adapting to the shift rotation, I can back off with less concerns about money.

What an inane argument. Some pieces of clothing are appropriate for some situations and some are not. I'm not going to walk into a business meeting wearing basketball shorts and a tank top because it's hot. I'm also not going to take off my FRC coveralls because it's 100 degrees in the refinery. In Iraq we predicted we would be in and out with in a few short years. I agree, while I'm all for so called Romeo and Juliet laws that allow for a minor disparity in ages of people having sex, a 21 year old and a 14 year old is a whole different ball park, imo. It helped me know that I wasn't the only one who noticed how hateful some aspects of feminism were. Massive amounts of vitriol come from them directed at me for no reason other than I am male. I also found a group of people where I can talk about an incident I went through and it helps me a lot. It also introduced me to COTWA, and now I try to support them as much as I can.

Actually they share many of the same after effects. Your small aside that hardly acknowledges that some of those falsely accused of rape have it worse is the definition of marginalization. It's dismissive while trying to emphasize something else. The reality is its and apples to oranges comparison. They're both equally horrendous.

I wanted to just drop into a foul language tirade about your post, but I took a deep breath and remembered that being level headed is the best course for these things. Your marginalization of what those who are falsely accused of rape go through is abhorrent. It really seems as if you don't understand what happens to these young men. The terror, depression, insomnia, rage, self doubt, self hatred, stress, turmoil or pain they experience. Pain that's not only emotional, but turns physical as the …

It took me 4 years before I had another meaningful relationship. I was in the same boat as you after my incident and somehow she just kinda broke down all the walls I had spent the previous years building up around myself. Truly a scary feeling the first time we hung out alone or did anything beyond that. Thank you, it's been 5 years, but I still can feel the effects from that day. And some of it is in the strangest ways. It's easy to say that in a relaxed state but the terror and stress of being in these situations is truly hard to overcome in ways few other things can compare. But even that is a stretch. Predicting actual tax payments is hard, and different people expect different standards of living. I had an interesting talk with an older guy one time. He was in his 50's and told me about how women change as they age. In his opinion he talked to me about how when you're young women have most, if not all the power, in gender relations. But once they're in the single market over 30 things change a bit, then they really change once the wrinkles start showing. After that talk, I started paying attention more and I really began to realize how true it all was.

Which is interesting as most most prolific serial killers have severe mother issues. For me, it seems that women are just that much more open to their emotions which allows them to really let out their negative thoughts and feelings towards other women or men. No, there's a head space, and in that head space different people experience different things. It's easy to get addicted to a head space as long as it differs from being sober. I've struggled with other "non-addictive" substances so OPs position isn't that foreign to me. While you're correct, I believe if we push ourselves to take the high road and more cases like the red headed woman telling everyone to "shut the fuck up for the 50th billion time" will occur and expose the dark underside of what feminism has become. Not everyone identifies as a feminist or MRA, but as this stuff occurs it may be enough to push the undecided one way or another. Court of public opinion does not have the ability to determine guilt or innocence. The Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case is a good example of it. Originally Zimmerman was not arrested or charged with anything. Public pressure pushed for his arrest, they got it, he was tried and found not guilty. Same thing with OJ. One thing to remember is some states require all party consent for recordings to be admissible in court. I'd look into what your States rules are. There was a girl I hooked up with one time while drunk and she seemed to have this crazy switch flip just after we were done. I used a condom, as soon as everything was done I made sure I took that thing with me and disposed of it somewhere she'd have pretty much 0 chance of coming across it. Crazy lady told my buddy she loved me after 3 dates.

Who in their right mind would want to fight when you have a back operation? Stupid people to the max.

I'm from Socal and there's a lot of hot Asian chick's where I'm at. And I'm just like you, I prefer Asian women, not sure why, but I just thing they're more attractive. I also don't think they're submissive or anything.

The dude from the stock photo has a really, really long neck. On a serious note, I find the article interesting. I'm only 23 and not married but out of my gf and I, I tend to be the one more likely to try to get us to chill out. I'm not saying she has a very hot temper that takes awhile to cool off. If my time upset is 100%,hers would be maybe a 110%. I know we're both happy and to me, I don't care who cools us off as long as we both are cooled off.

Maybe do a one month span of both campaigns, 2 weeks of October, 2 from November to support both instead of this weird abomination. Seems more fair, less confusing, less awkward and equal for both.

I believe the convoluted logic went: Men live to service women This weakens women's sense of agency and self sufficiency By weakening that women paradoxically become dependant on men. That's a really boiled down version of it and there is probably a few steps I'm forgetting.

That's just a terribly misinformed group of men about the purpose of circumcision. The issue we should be looking at isn't circumcision versus noncircumcision but education. There are a lot of myths and pure disinformation floating around in poorer countries that needs to be fixed.

I'm not saying it will cause an epidemic of scumbags, I'm saying scumbags would abuse that loophole. Two very different things.

I would see too many scumbags abusing that option. While the system is extremely far from perfect, I don't know what would fix it.

I'd like to agree with that, but I personally believe if you put a person in the same situation where they made a detrimental decision they are much more likely to make the same poor decision. So, maybe let them transfer credits to a comparable University that will take them, but I'd be a bit unsure about letting them go back to the original University.

It's not uncommon to have schools have expulsion guidelines for rape cases, but as you said, they tend to be trigger happy and not really investigate such accusations. I don't object to expelling those who commit rape, but I only feel comfortable with it being a form of discipline AFTER they've been convicted by a jury of their peers with a full legal trial. The school should let the legal system sort it out, as you mentioned.

I feel horrible for that guy, having gone through a similar situation as him I know the torment and distress shit like this causes. I had a woman accuse me of rape and shortly afterward I was cleared of any wrong doing by the local police. Even with me being cleared of any wrong doing, it ruined almost every single friendship I had at the time, my family became estranged, and I became severely depressed. I ended up moving 300 miles away and starting a new life in a place no one knew me. It's tak…
