Women are constantly telling y'all what they actually want. Y'all turn around and tell them they're wrong.

Nah I wouldn't because I'm always in the mood but also consent is important

That last one sounds like what I would expect an amateur actor in Brooklyn to sound like 🤣

Childhood trauma will do that to a person 🤣 idk about their situation though

I don't know about any of their lives because, with most exes, I just don't check in. After a breakup, I don't check in to protect my feelings, and once I'm over them I don't check in because I'm over them. The one I do know about, I only know cause we ran into each other and he told me how his life is going, plus I checked out his Instagram while debating whether to block him because it's just over and done, and whenever he did message me, it was kind of...him telling me about his new partners …

I would love if casual sex was all I wanted, but sex also runs the risk of me getting the feels for the wrong person. When I get the feels for someone, I get into the wrong relationships, put up with anything, and get hurt.

Since I've become sexually active...ummmm...3 years. I've been sexually active for 17 years and that 3 years was by far the longest. Wow I'm just realizing that I'm not doing so bad

Depends on if I liked her or not. I like to feel valued and chased after. But if I'm not into someone and they're acting like that, it's annoying

Someone being into you and showing it isn't desperation... You keep seeing it as that, you'll keep getting women who are into playing games because they were told they're desperate otherwise
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 11:23 PM

Because you're not "providing" for nothing. The woman you're with is providing a service for you and you're exchanging money for those services. Because a lot of the time, especially if the woman has kids, the woman not only gave up their career and ability to potentially earn as much, but they're providing free labor and they never get a break from it. They don't get weekends. They don't get time off after work. And if they do (they usually don't) that's a good thing. They are working. Childcar…

I've seen these posts, and these are typically in response to men posting things where they automatically assume that a woman who is near them or looked in their direction is into them and "not being direct" about wanting them, and then lamenting the fact that they don't just ask them out instead of staring and then supposedly getting mad that the guy didn't ask them out. Versus the posts by women that are a lot more humble and inquisitive about whether the dude likes them. And no, I don't mean …

I think the goal is to be happy enough that you're not going to go for just anybody. If you're already happy, you have a much smaller chance of sticking with someone who isn't healthy for you, because you make your own happiness. Then you can look for someone who adds to it, but if they don't, you just go back to your happy life. Of course, I don't think anyone is undeserving of love just because they're not happy. The fact that we make these arguments gendered makes no sense. Everyone hears the…

My parents got married and spent the rest of their lives paying for it. I watched them fight when I was little, and they eventually divorced. Never having married at all would have been a far better fate for them.

The fawning over guys you think don't really look that great? It's their personality or their vibe. That's more important to most women than looks.

Using anyone for money is just so wrong. It's one of the things that will make me not want to speak to anyone again You know what's even worse than using someone for sex? Using someone for emotional validation, seeing if you can make them fall in love, and then once they do, moving on to the next person. Emotional vampires. It's not even about gender. It's wrong when anyone does it

That women are people. And no, I don't think all guys need to be told that. But based on the way so many of them talk about us and treat us, a lot of them do

While I fully acknowledge some women do this, not all of them do, and we should not be punished as a gender and treated as unequal just because of something patriarchy put in place to begin with. A lot of us don't even want to be percieved by men. Some of us never want to even live with a man. We just want to be treated like humans, we want to make our money, and have our friends, and go home. We are people. It shouldn't be controversial. Those who expect men to pay for everything, should just g…

My first impression reading what you wrote is that women mean they don't owe men sex, period. Whether men are paying them, or spending money on them, or not spending anything on them, women don't owe men sex. Idk if that's what the women you're referencing meant, but that was my impression and that's what I believe. It's not even gendered...nobody owes anyone sex.

The only women who will be left wanting them would be the ones who already want to use men anyway. Why would they want to only attract that instead of women who pull their weight and don't see relationships as transactional?

I know, I was responding to the "the anti-male part doesn't mean they wanna remove men from politics." I responded to that because a society with anti-male sentiment would probably have more women represented in politics in a bigger way than they are now. That doesn't mean removing men, just that there wouldn't be such an extremely disparate ratio of men to women in politics if society was so anti male.

Putting a few women in politics isn't removing men from politics. If society was largely anti male you'd think there would be a little more women in politics, period. Just a little more. Instead of it being mostly men

Academics, lobby groups, voters, and anyone else who may have more power than politicians can vote and manipulate their way into affecting politics. You will see it reflected in the people who are overtly in political power. Since most of those politicians are men, it suggests one of two things. Either lobby groups, voters, academics, etc, are not largely anti-male, or they don't have enough power to place women into political government positions. You just decided what I think and listed your o…

Hmm... funny, because you'd think if that were true, there would be more women in power, then

Well, when you're mentioning policies and laws in the first place, I want to add that mostly men make those policies and laws, since the conversation was about supposed anti male sentiment

Nah, women want sex as much as men do. But we're more scared of pregnancy, we were socialized to not pursue, we are more scared of everything involving romance and sex because of the specific kind of violence that affects us so much, we worry about making others uncomfortable more, and we want to protect our hearts by making sure we're having sex with the right person. There's a lot that goes into it, it's not cause we don't want sex. Not all men, not all women, ofc.

It's not a need. Women feel the same way.

I'm a lesbian, but I'll answer anyway cause i'm dating a woman. I would absolutely not give up video games, because I want both and can get both. From my own experience, I play video games more often when I'm single, but I've never been single because I game. I play video games because that's one way I enjoy my own company. It helps to have your own hobbies. Never give that up just to maybe have a slightly bigger chance to find a girlfriend. I don't even know if cutting out gaming would increase…

Most women who have an issue with gender roles for women also have an issue with gender roles for men. I feel like the people who argue things along the lines of, "feminists don't care about gender roles for men" are preaching to the choir. We know it's wrong to just expect men to adhere to gender roles. That's the point.

You can have standards without being jerks about it. Gay men appreciate women's beauty more than this specific kind of straight man does.

Be mad. Are you guys even attracted to women? Nothing wrong with not being attracted to women, but you don't have to be jerks about it. I've never met a man who looked better than the woman he was rating

The men who call certain women "average" or "below average" and make a big deal about it are usually the ones who look way worse than the women they're rating

I think it's a bad stereotype for both genders, and it's also such bs. I've dated both. Tbh, most men I have been with have been a lot more emotional and sweet than most women. Ofc i have limited experience with different men, but I also saw it in my friends' relationships. My last boyfriend wanted to keep the relationship more than I did. I'm not saying men are angels and women are devils, I'm just saying it's not black and white. This is just my experience and observation of my friends, I don'…
