They are by and large related to a lack of emotional intimacy. You are the first person I have ever seen bring this solid point up.

What is the definition of false? Does that mean the accuser was later charged with a crime? Does this 2% include the 'rapes that go unreported?'

All I want is someone who is kind, and can make me laugh. (2 paragraphs later:) Don't email me if- you are under 6 feet, if you don't own a home, if you have college debt that is larger than your salary, if you don't have a REAL job. Then she cries about how lonely she is.

A system of regurgitating what you are told to believe and being rewarded for it? Like y = mx + b

Men of a certain appearance will always be considered creepy to most women (who are complete strangers).

I'm thinking someone who worked in the vicinity just happened to know your name and saw you talking to that girl.

Had to put up with a freshman girl going around and saying I was following her around. Our HS was small with limited places to hang out when not in class. Rumors got stupid the way rumors do.

When I used to bartend I would see this happen every so often. Guys called creep after just trying to talk to a woman/women, sometimes only getting as far as introducing themselves.

I worked somewhere where I had to check IDs a lot, knew the first and last names of total strangers who came by regularly.

Something similar happened to me in high school. No security folks involved, just rumors that took on a life of there own.

It bugs me that she didn't assume that he may have immediately thought that what he said was stupid, and that he should of said something along the lines of what you said.

unless they send you inviting glances and smiles. I find this bizarre because we live in a country where we regularly smile at complete strangers. In a lot of other places smiles are reserved for your family and friends. I also know plenty of people (mostly women) who smile when they get nervous.

I will say that the number I know has gone way down since 2007. A friend who is a divorce lawyer says people filing has gone down. And so called 'grey' divorces have gone up.
