it is simple. tons of women have trouble with men too. none of these are desires that all women have in common. the analogy ur trying to make is that different women like different men but all women like men. ofc excluding queer women, just like we’d exclude queer men. it’s not that complicated i think some guys think it is because they are undesirable. so they assume it’s this complex code to crack when women just don’t generally like them (and then maybe a couple do) desirable men haven’t crac…

yes but the issue isn’t radical feminism- those women that are horrible to struggling mentally i’ll “lower status” men are also horrible to struggling mentally ill “lower status” women. it has nothing to do with feminism and everything to do with other forces of oppression. feminism is on ur side even if u don’t believe it. of course there will be some self-proclaimed feminists that are pieces of shit. but ur gender is not the reason ur life is hard. your other forms of struggle are. i promise u…

i’m really sorry you’ve been struggling in these ways. this isn’t meant to be preachy- i have severe ocd, ptsd, and bipolar disorder. but i was miserable for many years and only in the past year have started to enjoy life not because of any external change but because i went to intensive therapy to change my hateful negative worldview. i understand why you’re angry, who wouldn’t be? but feminism didn’t do this to you. i doubt the girls who teased you were actual feminists. the forces telling you…

my point is that you’re mistaken and i know it’s hard to hear because it’s not what you want to believe but feminism is the primary mainstream movement focused on gender roles being abolished, absolutely including men’s rigid roles. you’re not combating my point you’re changing the topic. do you actually not understand? feminism is not a reason male DV isn’t taken seriously- conservatism is the movement that largely tells men “be a man be tough” etc. and invalidates male victims. your anger is v…

ok so the first thing is insane. the notion that u could fall in love with a girl who doesn’t feel the same way or has a boyfriend? that’s super creepy. u can have a crush on a girl out of your reach but if you think you’re in love with a girl who isn’t interested in you… wow. the second option i don’t really understand but ive never heard a normal flirty guy described as a pick up artist. pick up artists notoriously make women uncomfortable and go after drunk women so id assume if you’re being …

ok first of all i’m so sorry you’ve been through that and i wish you the best. second of all, i don’t see how feminism is related to people being shitty to you. maybe coincidentally some people who treated you poorly were feminists. but no part of the feminist movement advocates for degrading suffering people and calling them losers. you’ve been dealt a tough hand but men’s rights aren’t your problem in my opinion. the vast majority of men are not called losers. i assume you have very low social…

how is that coincidental? feminism advocates for the abolition of gender roles. the struggles you are describing about men (like not being able to show emotion etc.) are because of rigid gender roles. traditional gender roles are what you are complaining about. feminism is on your side. that’s not coincidental that’s like a core feminist belief. feminists want you to be able to cry and not be tough etc. and conservatives (anti feminists) largely push the notion that men need to be tough etc.

thank you for being respectful. i think you’d be surprised about feminists. in real life they are much less angry than online. and i’m sorry to hear what you went through

i don’t think that’s the silver bullet u think it is. i don’t think that statement requires proof and its like first day learning about logical fallacies vibes to say nobody can say anything anecdotal in a discussion. i was just giving my two cents and perspective without meaning to attack anyone you don’t have to believe me but i think you’d be a much happier person if you were open to the possibility that feminists aren’t the reason your life is bad and your low social standing would be painfu…

can u tell me a little about urself im on here to understand and i wanna know what kind of guy thinks like this. like age, romantic history, appearance, social life, where u live, financial background. do u know why you are a men’s rights activist like did something happen to you?

your pitch is a pitch for feminism. it is feminists who want to create a space where men can be emotional and “softer” and to do away with gender roles. of course there are shitty women who enforce these gender roles but they are mostly upheld by other men socially punishing each other for not being “man” enough. and the women who enforce these gender roles are for the most part conservative, not feminist. for example the women on social media claiming they need a rich strong provider man are mo…

why do you believe you are lonely? surely most men aren’t lonely so what is it about you outside of your gender that makes you lonely? and in what way has feminism caused you to be lonely as opposed to other forces? real curiosity not an attack and hope ur doing okay

a woman could be at the wrong place at the wrong time, and a man could just decide on a whim to ruin her life by raping her. she might not even know him, but it will be impossible to prove in court and traumatizing to even recount. people will say that she deserves what she got for existing in the same space as him and not being more careful. men can flip a switch and take your life for a ride because they felt like it.

one more thing i will say is that i believe men’s rights activists’ anger is misplaced. i think many are on the lower end of the social hierarchy and that is the source of their misery, not their gender. i believe even the most beautiful wealthy women suffer from patriarchy but the issues that are brought up here (definitely real issues) don’t apply to men universally in the same way. also, im sure you’ve heard this before but i don’t think feminists are your enemy. in the case of men being abus…

i dont even think its meant to be faulting men i think its about focusing on men being the ones suffering. if anything its misogynistic that there isnt a movement for lonely women. that said, i think men are the ones who are suffering from loneliness right now in a way they never have before in more ways than romantic for many reasons. what do u think these reasons are?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
